Two-time Olympian for home country Singapore … competed in 400m freestyle at Sydney games and in the 200m butterfly at the Sydney and Athens games … finished sixth in heat one of round one in the 400m free at Sydney games … took eighth in heat two of round one in the 200m fly at the Sydney games and eighth in heat one of round one in the 200m fly at the Athens games … was 15 in Sydney and 19 in Athens, becoming the first active Irish student-athlete to compete in Olympics since track and field standout August “Gus” Desch in 1920 … competed in Commonwealth Games in 1998 and 2002, Southwest Asian Games in 1997, 1998 and 2001, Asian Games in 1998 and 2002, World Championships in 1998, 1999, 2002 and the Asian Championships in 1996 and 2000 … three-time Monogram winner at Notre Dame … won two BIG EAST individual titles and one relay crown … named all-BIG EAST eight times, three individual and five relays … qualified for NCAAs in 2005, competing in the 100 and 200 fly events.
