Notre Dame hockey coach Jeff Jackson has announced that former Irish captain T.J. Jindra `07 will return to his alma mater this fall to serve on his staff as a volunteer assistant coach. Irish Add Two To Roster For 2010-11 Season

Notre Dame hockey coach Jeff Jackson has announced the additions of a pair of players to the Irish roster for the 2010-11 campaign. Joining the lineup this fall are defenseman Kevin Lind (Homer Glen, Ill.) and center T.J. Tynan (Orland Park, Ill.). Both players signed national letters-of-intent to attend Notre Dame in November of 2009 but had planned to return to their junior teams in the United States Hockey League this season. (read more)

Notre Dame freshman left wing Anders Lee (Edina, Minn.) has been named the Central Collegiate Hockey Association’s rookie of the week for the week ending Oct. 10. No. 12 Notre Dame fought back from a 3-1 deficit to send Sunday’s matchup with 10th-ranked Boston University into overtime, and settled for a 3-3 decision as 3,545 fans watched on Sunday evening at the Sears Centre Arena. Notre Dame sophomore goaltender Mike Johnson stopped 37-of-38 shots on the night and got all the offense he needed on goals by Stephen Johns and Billy Maday as the Fighting Irish downed New Hampshire, 2-1, on Sunday night in front of 5,906 at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
