For the first time ever, the University of Notre Dame and the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum will play host to the NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Midwest Regional on Sat.-Sun., March 27-28, 2010.
Tickets for the hockey regional are available in three-game packages –
- Adult All-Session: $87.00 (200 Lower Bowl); $77.00 (Upper Level)
- Youth 12-and-Under All-Session: $77.00 or $67.00
- College Student All-Session: $82.00 or $72.00
- Groups 20+ All-Session: $74.00 or $64.00

All four NCAA hockey regionals will sell tickets in three-game packages only. It is anticipated that the regional sites will sell out, but if any of the four are not sold out by March 21, 2010, tickets will be made available for individual sessions at an increased ticket price.
If a host institution is selected to participate in the 2010 NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Championship, they will be assigned to their host site, meaning that if Notre Dame qualifies, the Irish will be assigned to the Fort Wayne regional. Two games are scheduled for Saturday, March 27 with starting times set for 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The regional championship game on Sunday, March 28 has an 8:00 p.m. starting time with the winner advancing to the NCAA Frozen Four in Detroit at Ford Field, April 8-10, 2010.
The actual tournament bracket will not be announced until Sunday, March 21.
Notre Dame has appeared in the NCAA Regionals four times in its hockey history, including each of the last three seasons. In 2007, the Irish were in the Midwest Regional in Grand Rapids, Mich. In 2008, Notre Dame played in the West Regional in Colorado Springs, Colo., and last season, the Irish again played in the Midwest Regional at Grand Rapids, Michigan.
