Garrity’s 31 Points Lead Irish To Win
CHICAGO – Notre Dame’s Pat Garrity scored a game-high 31 points to lead the Fighting Irishback from a four-point halftime defecit as they beat Loyola (Chi.) 70-62 Monday at Loyola.
The Fighting Irish, who outscored Loyola 46-33 in the second half after trailing 29-24 at halftime,went on the win their third-consecutive game and fourth in five tries.
Garrity, who finished the night on 11-of-17 from the floor, led all scorers while no other Notre Dameplayer reached double digits in scoring. Garrity also grabbed 11 rebounds.
