HEAD COACH WOMEN’S GOLF, SUSAN HOLTHaving completed her 11th season as Notre Dame’s head women’s golf coach in 2016-17, Susan Holt has transformed the Fighting Irish into one of the nation’s most successful and consistent programs both on and off the course. A six-time conference Coach of the Year (most recently earning the 2013 BIG EAST award), Holt has led Notre Dame to nine NCAA regional appearances in the last ten seasons, including the first NCAA Championship berth in program history (2011), while lowering the team’s season stroke average by more than 10 strokes since she arrived on the scene in 2006.

In addition, Holt has piloted Notre Dame to four conference titles, 16 total tournament championships and the top 11 single-season stroke averages in the program’s record book, all while guiding Fighting Irish players to 14 medalist honors and 27 all-conference accolades as well as the first two All-America selections in Notre Dame women’s golf history.


ASSOCIATE HEAD COACH, KYLE LYNNE VELTRIKyle Lynne Demeter completed her 12th season on the women’s golf coaching staff at the University of Notre Dame, and her second as associate head coach in 2016-17, having been promoted to that role in the summer of 2015 after a decade as an assistant coach. Since teaming up with current head coach Susan Holt prior to the 2006-07 season, Demeter has helped the Fighting Irish post the top 11 scoring averages in program history while also leading Notre Dame to nine  NCAA regional appearances in the last ten years (2008-16) and the NCAA Championship for the first time in program history in 2010-11.
