NOTRE DAME, Ind. – In recognition and appreciation for the men and women currently (or formerly) in military service, the University of Notre Dame is offering a special discount on Saturday, Nov. 10 as part of Military Appreciation Day. Any individual who presents a military identification card can purchase tickets to the men’s basketball season opener against Evansville at 2:00 pm (ET) at Purcell Pavilion for themselves and family members for just $5.
The Irish open up the 2012-13 campaign against the Aces in the first of two preliminary round games of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. Notre Dame also will play host to Monmouth on Monday evening, Nov. 12 at 7:00 pm (ET) as part of the CVC Classic.
