After sneaking in a doubleheader sweep of Eastern Michigan on Saturday (2-0 and 9-1 victories), the University of Notre Dame softball team’s doubleheader at Western Michigan, set for Sunday afternoon, has been postponed. Extreme cold and strong winds have pushed the contest to April 2 in Kalamazoo, Mich. (3 and 5 p.m.).

The weather started out rough on Saturday as well, but cleared up enough for the Irish to claim a doubleheader sweep of Eastern Michigan.

Notre Dame has a tentative game at Valparaiso on Monday evening, which at this time is still going to be played at 4 p.m.
