NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame softball team’s doubleheader scheduled for Tuesday (March 18) at Western Michigan has been pushed back to Thursday, March 20. The Irish and Broncos will play one game on that date beginning at 4 p.m. (ET) at Fran Ebert Field in Kalamazoo, Mich.
Notre Dame enters Thursday’s meeting with a 14-9 overall record after posting a 4-1 mark at Charleston Southern’s Lowcountry Collegiate Softball Invitational this past weekend.
With an even 6-6 record after dropping three of its last four games, Western Michigan is paced offensively by Samantha Vargocko’s .400 batting average. Pitcher Kyla Sullivan has recorded three wins while sporting a team-best 3.95 ERA.
