University of Notre Dame men’s basketball fans looking to purchase season tickets for the 2017-18 campaign will have a unique opportunity to not only buy their tickets but also to select where their season seats will be located. The third annual Select-A-Seat event will be held on Saturday, August 12, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. ET in Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center.
The previous Select-A-Seat date of August 5, 2017, was rescheduled due to the preparations for the Ara Parseghian Memorial Celebration that will take place on August 6.
Any fan who purchases a season ticket on August 12 in person at the event will receive a chance to shoot a three-point shot on the Purcell Pavilion floor. A successful shot will earn the shooter a free season ticket for the 2017-18 season. Only one attempt will be allowed regardless of the number of seats purchased.
The men’s basketball locker room will be open to participants in the Select-A-Seat event for pictures.
The complete 2017-18 schedule with dates and times will be released later this summer. The 2017-18 home slate will feature games against Boston College, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, NC State, Florida State, Miami, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Ball State, Mount St. Mary’s, Chicago State, St. Francis Brooklyn, Dartmouth and Southeastern Louisiana.
