NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The Notre Dame volleyball program will play a home-and-home series this weekend with No. 24 Ohio State. The Irish will travel to Ohio State on Friday, September 8 for a match that is set to begin at 7 p.m. ET and then host the Buckeyes at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 10 in Purcell Pavilion. Sunday’s match at Notre Dame will be free of charge and open to all fans.

The Irish and Buckeyes were forced to call an audible on their previous plans of traveling to the Coastal Carolina Classic in Conway, South Carolina, due to the threat of Hurricane Irma.

Notre Dame volleyball fans will have their first opportunity of the season to pick up the team’s free schedule posters and coasters.

Sunday’s match will mark the first time Notre Dame has hosted Ohio State in volleyball since the 1996 season and the first meeting between the two sides since the teams met in the first round of the NCAA Championship in 2012.
