Saturday's Notre Dame - Ohio State Game To Be Broadcast On Comcast South Bend

Notre Dame, Ind. – The second-ranked Notre Dame hockey team closes out play at the Joyce Center this weekend with a pair of games against CCHA foe, Ohio State, before moving into the new Compton Family Ice Arena on Oct. 18.

Game two of the series will be televised live by Comcast Television in Michigan on Saturday, October 15, beginning at 7:05 p.m. The game also will be carried via South Bend Cable Channel 3 in the South Bend-Michiana area.

This is the first of six Notre Dame hockey games that will be televised this season live by Comcast. Included in the schedule are Wednesday, Oct. 28 at Bowling Green (7:05 p.m.), Tuesday, Nov. 15 at home with Western Michigan (7:05 p.m.), Tuesday, Nov. 22 at Western Michigan (7:05 p.m.), Saturday, Feb. 11, at home against Ferris State (7:05 p.m.) and Saturday, Feb. 25 at home versus Michigan State (7:05 p.m.).

Notre Dame and Ohio State enter the weekend, with 1-1-0 records and are playing the CCHA season openers for both teams. The Irish are ranked second in the nation in both the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine Poll and the USCHO.com poll.
