CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Due to inclement weather in the Champaign, Illinois area, Saturday night’s winner’s bracket game at the NCAA Champaign Regional between No. 1 seed Illinois and the No. 2 seeded University of Notre Dame baseball team has been postponed until 4 p.m. (ET) Sunday.

In an elimination game that started at 1 p.m. (ET) Saturday, Wright State leads Ohio, 5-2, in the top of the third inning. That game will be restarted at 12 p.m. (ET) Sunday before the Irish and Illini can play.

Following the Irish and the Illini, a second elimination game would then occur 55 minutes afterwards between the loser of Notre Dame and Illinois and the winner of Wright State and Ohio.

The championship game has been moved to Monday, with an “if necessary” game slated for later that day.
