NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Graduate attacker Samantha Lynch was named the ACC’s Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 16).
Lynch led all players and matched her career-high with seven points (5G, 2A) in last Saturday’s (Feb. 13) season-opening 19-5 win over Vanderbilt. The Huntington, New York, native also added four ground balls and a caused turnover in the victory.
Saturday marked the fourth five+ goal performance of Lynch’s career. In 59 career games, Lynch has totaled 110 goals and 129 points.
