NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Graduate attacker Samantha Lynch has been added to the watch list for the 2021 Tewaaraton Award, the Tewaaraton Foundation announced Friday afternoon (April 2).
With the addition of Lynch, the Irish now have five players on the watch list, including Andie Aldave, Kasey Choma, Bridget Deehan and Kathleen Roe.
Aldave, a 2019 Tewaaraton Award nominee, has been named to the watch list for the third consecutive season while Deehan and Roe each make their second consecutive appearance on the list.
Lynch currently leads the Irish with 22 goals and 28 points in seven games this season. She has been named the ACC’s Offensive Player of the Week on two occasions in 2021, and has netted at least four goals in four contests this season. The Huntington, New York, native has racked up 127 goals and 150 points in 65 career contests for the Irish.
