NOTRE DAME, Ind. – University of Notre Dame men’s soccer players Ryan Finley (Sr./F) and Max Lachowecki (So./D) were selected to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for their performances in Saturday’s 3-0 victory over Providence.
Finley (Lumberton, N.J./Rancocas Valley/Duke) recorded a hat trick in a span of 9:13 in the second half against the Friars. It was the fourth hat trick of his career and his fourth multiple-goal game of the season. He also was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week for the third time this season.
Finley is third nationally in goals scored (14) and fourth in total points (31) this season. The senior forward has 18 points on eight goals and two assists in the last five matches.

Lachowecki (Evansville, Ind./Reitz Memorial) assisted on Finley’s first goal, which came in the 70th minute, against Providence. The left back has one goal and two assists this season. He and the Irish defense also limited the Friars to just two shots on goal en route to posting their seventh shutout of the season.
The seventh-ranked Fighting Irish (12-3-0, 4-2-0) will play host to No. 3 Marquette (14-1-0, 5-1-0) at 7 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday at Alumni Stadium.
