Rowing Ranked 16th In the Nation

Notre Dame, Ind. – The Notre Dame rowing team is ranked 16th in the US Rowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association poll for the week of April 11. Notre Dame fell two spots after finishing sixth in the Jessop-Whittier Cup last weekend at the San Diego Crew Classic in San Diego, Calif.

Notre Dame achieved its first national ranking in the three-year history of the varsity program last week when it was ranked No. 14 in the nation.

The Irish travel to Bloomington, Ind., Saturday, April 14, for the Indiana Crew Classic. Teams competing in Bloomington in addition to Notre Dame are Indiana, Purdue, Louisville and Tennessee.
