SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame rowing team is set for the 2022 Atlantic Coast Conference Rowing Championship, which will be held May 13-14 on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, South Carolina.
“The whole team is excited for the ACC Rowing Championships,” head coach Martin Stone said. “We expect there to be excellent racing across all the boat classes. We’re heading into the event having completed some of our best training sessions of the year leading up the races.”
The Championship starts Friday, May 13 at 8:05 a.m. with the Third Varsity Eight, followed by the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four. There will be two heats of each event.

ACC Network Extra

- Mark Perzel will handle play-by-play duties, while former Irish rower Amanda Polk will be the analyst.
- Polk became the first Notre Dame Rowing alumna to earn an Olympic medal as part of the gold-medal winning U.S. Eight on Aug. 13, 2016.
- Polk was a four-time All-American at Notre Dame.
- A two-hour championship recap show will air on ACC Network on Tuesday, May 24 at 8 p.m.
The 2022 Field
- Three ACC teams are ranked among the latest Pocock/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Poll with Syracuse headlining the group at No. 11, followed by No. 14 Duke and No. 15 Virginia.
- Louisville and Clemson are receiving votes.
