AS A SENIOR: Rowed with the second varsity four and the first novice eight as a senior … member of the Notre Dame second varsity four lineup that finished in second place (6:52.012) in the final race of the opening day of the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational … moved to the first novice eight, taking runner-up honors with a time of 7:04.51 against No. RV Michigan State at the Big Ten/ACC Double Dual.
AS A JUNIOR: Competed primarily with the third varsity four boat during junior season … pulled in behind former BIG EAST rival Louisville in 7:50.745 at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational to begin the season … the third varsity four placed third in the ACC/ Big Ten Challenge (8:17.09) against Ohio State and a second Irish entry before securing another third place finish in 8:37.00 behind Michigan later in the regatta … moved to the second varsity four “C” boat in the regular season finale and finished third behind the Irish “A” and “B” boats in 8:10.40 at the Dale England Cup.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Competed with multiple boats for the Irish … pulled with the fourth varsity four boat at Michigan State, finishing second in both races to Michigan with times of 8:41.80 and 8:47.06, respectively … appeared in the first novice eight B-team boat at the Dale England Cup that finished third in the Saturday morning race, before jumping into the third varsity four boat for the afternoon … four-boat finished third with a time of 9:37.7, behind Iowa and host Indiana.
AS A FRESHMAN: Competed in the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite with the fourth varsity four against Virginia (7:38.47) … faced Virginia again during a Sunday session of races and placed second with a time of 7:58.88 … rowed in back-to-back days against Ohio State (7:15.12) and then Indiana, Purdue, and Louisville, winning the novice eight on the second day with a time of 6:46.65 … helped Notre Dame beat Iowa in the BIG EAST Invite, rowing with the fourth varsity eight boat (7:30.10).
PREP AND PERSONAL: Participated in ice hockey each of four years while attending Concord Carlisle High School in Concord, Mass. … began rowing with Community Rowing, Inc., as a sophomore and has now rowed with CRI for three years, one as a novice and two on the varsity team … raced in the Head of the Charles the past two years and rowed in the Royal Canadian Henley and USRowing club nationals over the last three summers of high school career … graduated with a degree in classics from the College of Arts and Letters.
