AS A JUNIOR: Did not race during junior season.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Coxed both the second and third varsity four boats … the Irish second four crew finished second behind Louisville at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational with a time of 7:39.552 … jumped to the third varsity four boat for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, claiming a second place finish in a 6:48.27 sprint.

AS A FRESHMAN: Appeared as coxswain for several Irish boats throughout the season … called for the fourth varsity four boat at Michigan State, coming in second in both races to Michigan … moved into the third varsity four boat at Ohio State Invitational … finished fourth in both races, posting times of 8:31.88 and 8:50.33, respectively … coxed for the second varsity four B-team crew at the fifth annual Dale England Cup … came in second in two races but then moved into the driver’s chair for the B-team of the first novice eight boat … racing against twin sister, Alex, came in third with a time of 8:30.5.

PREP AND PERSONAL: was a member of the rowing and soccer teams at Branksome Hall in Toronto, Ontario … as a senior, her boat of four won the bronze medal at the Canadian Secondary School Rowing Association (CSSRAs) regatta … also rowed in the eight boat, which missed medaling in the championship regatta by .01 of a second … school ranked second overall in point totals at Nationals … won one gold, two silvers and a bronze medal … as a junior, won three silvers and one bronze medal … as a sophomore, took home one gold, two silvers and a bronze medal … as a freshman, won a silver medal at the CSSRAs, three silvers and one bronze at various regattas … outside of school sports programs, played on volleyball and softball club teams … is the daughter of Frank and Maria Techar … father Frank played hockey at Princeton … has a twin sister, Alexandra, also on the team … born in Houston, Texas … enrolled in the College of Science.
