  • Added 9.0 TFLs, 3.5 sacks, five QB hurries, four break-ups, an interception and a fumble recovery
  • Named to the Pro Football Focus College Team of the Week after the win over No. 14 Michigan when he totaled 10 tackles, including 0.5 for loss, a fumble recovery and two QB hurries
  • Recorded 14 tackles against Ball State with 3.0 for loss and a sack before matching career-best 14 tackles against Navy
  • Had 10 tackles, two sacks and a pass break-up in win at Northwestern

JUNIOR SEASON (2017)

  • One of four returning players across the nation in 2018 that recorded at least 116 tackles and 13.5 TFLs in 2017
  • Played in all 13 games and started seven contests
  • Led the Irish in solo tackles (57), assisted tackles (59), total tackles (116), TFLs (13.5) and ranked second in sacks (3.0)
  • Spearheaded a Notre Dame defense that improved by at least 20 spots in the FBS rankings in third down conversion percentage, interceptions, rushing defense, scoring defense, passing efficiency defense, sacks, tackles for loss and turnovers gained
  • Irish were the last team in the FBS to surrender more than 20 points in a game (Irish allowed 20 points or less over each of their first eight games)
  • Notre Dame allowed only four plays of 40 yards or longer in 2017—the second-fewest of any team in the FBS
  • The Irish allowed only one play of 50 yards or longer in 2017—the second-fewest of any team in the FBS
  • Part of a linebacker group (which also included Drue Tranquill, Nyles Morgan and Greer Martini) that all registered at least 75 tackles—a first in school history.
  • Recorded a career-best 17 tackles (tops by any player in a bowl game) in the 21-17 victory over No. 17 LSU in the 2018 Citrus Bowl

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2016)

  • Played in all 12 games and started nine
  • Did not start vs. Texas (Sept. 4), Navy (Nov. 5) and Army (Nov. 12)
  • Registered 62 tackles, including 33 solo stops
  • His 62 tackles ranked fourth on the team and third among linebackers
  • Made at least seven tackles in five different games
  • Recorded two tackles for loss

FRESHMAN SEASON (2015)

  • Played in 12 games on special teams and as a reserve linebacker
  • Registered six tackles on special teams, which was tied for sixth-best on the squad
  • All six tackles on special teams came on kickoff return, which ranked him tied for third
  • Recorded a career-high four tackles against UMass (Sept. 26)
  • Registered two tackles against both Texas (Sept. 5) and USC (Oct. 17)
  • Split a tackle for loss, the first of his career, against Navy (Oct. 10)
  • Collected a solo tackle against Ohio State in the BattleFrog Fiesta Bowl (Jan. 1)
  • Suffered a shoulder injury against the Buckeyes that sidelined him from 2016 spring practice

  • Made 136 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions as senior in 2014 for Palm Beach Gardens High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida
