Served as a team captain during his senior season … copped first-team All-America and All-ACC honors as a senior … started all 50 games during the last three seasons of his career … picked up 103 ground balls and caused 46 turnovers … earned three monograms … was selected by the Ohio Machine in the sixth round of the 2014 Major League Lacrosse Draft.

AS A SENIOR (2014): Earned first-team All-America honors from the USILA … named to the All-ACC Team … a team captain … a finalist for the Senior CLASS Award … appeared on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List … a starter in all 18 games … picked up 32 ground balls and caused 21 turnovers … collected four ground balls and caused three turnovers in the 18-9 victory over Virginia … named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Cavaliers … tied a career-high mark with five ground balls in the 15-14 win over Syracuse in the title game of the ACC Championship … also caused a season-high four caused turnovers versus the Orange … selected to the All-ACC Tournament Team … scooped up two ground balls and caused three turnovers in the 14-13 overtime win over Albany in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championship … earned his third monogram.

AS A JUNIOR (2013): Started all 16 games for an Irish defense that ranked 10th nationally by allowing just 8.31 goals per game … that goals-against average ranked first among all BIG EAST teams … Notre Dame also had the nation’s 10th-best man-down defense (.737) … earned second team all-BIG EAST honors … scooped up 32 ground balls … the Irish defense held No. 4 Duke to just five goals in a 13-5 season-opening victory … … the Notre Dame defense limited No. 8 Ohio State to just four goals in a 9-4 Fighting Irish win … matched a career-high total of five ground balls against Hofstra and Villanova … a BIG EAST Academic All-Star … earned his second monogram.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2012): Produced a solid season for the Fighting Irish … started all 16 games in the close defense and helped the Irish rank first nationally in scoring defense (6.31 gpg) and man-down defense (.892) … picked up 39 ground balls … scooped up a season-high five ground balls in an 8-7 win at Ohio State … picked up four ground balls in wins over Rutgers (12-9), St. John’s (13-6), Syracuse (8-6) and Yale (13-7) … received his first monogram.

AS A FRESHMAN (2011): Did not see game action during his rookie campaign.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Four-year starter in lacrosse at St. Joe’s Prep … received All-America honors from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) as a senior … ranked 63rd overall in the class of 2010 by Inside Lacrosse … ranked as the 18th best defenseman in the class of 2010 according to Inside Lacrosse … three-time all-state selection (sophomore, junior and senior) … earned All-Catholic League honors his final three seasons after being an honorable mention pick as a freshman … copped team MVP award twice … served as a team captain during his junior and senior seasons … two-year starter in football at fullback and linebacker … as a senior, he earned first-team All-Catholic (multi-purpose) and was a second-team choice at linebacker … an honorable mention All-Catholic selection in football during his junior season … named the scholar-athlete of the league … son of Tom and Maria O’Hara … father played basketball at Rider University … was a member of Notre Dame’s Rosenthal Leadership Academy … graduated from the Mendoza College of Business in May of 2014 with a degree in finance … minored in Chinese … finished with a 3.436 cumulative GPA.
