AS A JUNIOR (2015-16): Transferred from Wayne State at start of 2015-16 school year but took the year off to train for the Olympics.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-15 at WSU): Received the NCAA Elite 89 Award, presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA’s 89 Championships … swam at NCAA Div. II Championships, becoming a six-time First Team All-American … swam third leg on the national champion 200 free relay team, setting a Div. II record (1:18.89) … also swam the fly leg on the national champion 200 medley relay team (1:26.17) … helped Wayne State finish second in the 400 medley relay, setting school record of 3:09.81 … finished third in 100 fly (46.66), shattering his own previous school record … aided the 400 free relay to fourth place (2:57.00), setting program record … came in eighth place in 200 fly (1:51.02) … at GLIAC Conference Championships, won the 200 fly (1:48.61), placing third in the 100 fly (47.77) … swam with three title-winning relays … swam the third leg in both the 200 medley relay (1:27.89) and 400 medley relay (3:13.26) … led the 400 free relay, winning in 2:59.03 … swam in seven regular-season meets … posted personal best times throughout the regular season in the 50 free (21.96), 100 free (48.21), 50 back (23.94), 100 fly (49.77) and 200 fly (1:55.80) … repeated as CSCA First Team Scholar All-American … voted to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Men’s At Large First Team and went on to become a First Team Academic All-American … named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team.AS A FRESHMAN (2013-14 at WSU): Earned six First Team All-America accolades … won national title at NCAA Div.
