AS A SENIOR: Raced in a limited capacity with the Irish … stroked with the third varsity four boat at the Ohio State Invitational … came in fourth place in both races, posting times of 8:31.88 and 8:50.33, respectively … started in the B-team boat of the women’s novice eight event at the fifth annual Dale England Cup, finishing third with a clip of 7:34.4 … in second race, hopped into the A-team second varsity four launch and pulled into third place in 8:28.4 … moved back to the first novice eight B-team boat and finished third behind host Indiana and the Irish A-team with a time of 8:30.5.

AS A JUNIOR: Rowed with multiple Irish boats this season … named a 2012 CRCA Scholar Athlete … started with the second varsity four, getting the win over Duke (7:40.20) at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite … also placed second against Minnesota (7:32.83), before taking third in the Sunday session (7:44.04) … competed against Ohio State with the second varsity four (7:59.89) … came back the next day to get the win against Indiana and Purdue (7:34.71) … rowed the third varsity eight boat to victory over San Diego and Penn at the Virginia Invite (7:04.80), as well as a second place finish to Virginia (6:58.80) and another win over Clemson (7:04.00) … qualified (7:37.30) and won the second varsity four race against Syracuse to finish up the BIG EAST Invite (7:56.80) … moved to the first varsity four boat to race in the BIG EAST Championship, and after winning the qualifier with a time of 7:14.00, came in second place during the grand final (7:31.428) to finish out the season.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Served as coxswain with multiple boats during the spring season for the Irish … finished in second place behind Buffalo in the first race of the spring, clocking in at 7:02.04 … notched first victory of the spring with a first place finish in Indianapolis against Indiana, Purdue, Eastern Michigan, and a second Notre Dame boat while posting a time of 7:56.0 … qualified for the BIG EAST Championships by placing first in preliminaries with a time of 7:22.21 … went on to win the BIG EAST Championships final by stopping the clocks at 7:03.24 … placed fourth (7:51.68) at the Oak Ridge Regional Grand Final in the open four regatta behind Virginia “A,” Clemson, and Virginia “B” … qualified for the grand finals by placing second in heat A behind Virginia “A” … member of the fourth-place varsity eight Notre Dame “2” boat that finished in a time of 14:47.1 vs. Tulsa … same day, rowed with the Notre Dame varsity four “3” that took seventh place.

AS A FRESHMAN: Rowed with the second novice eight boat for majority of the spring season before competing with the open four “B” boat at the Central/South Sprints … won opening heat of the season over Buffalo with a time of 5:26.0, before finishing third in the second heat at 5:41.2 … stopped the clock at 7:35.3 to earn a third-place result against Michigan and Michigan State … defeated Purdue the following day after finishing at 8:02.8 … also finished third in the novice four “A” boat against Buffalo and Purdue with a mark of 9:18.8 … competed in the petite final at the Central/South Sprints, finishing in fifth with a time of 7:46.32 … earned a spot in that race by finishing third in prelims (7:58.23) and fifth in the semifinals (8:00.96) … raced in both the collegiate eight and novice eight races at the Head of the Rock Regatta … helped the boat coxed by Elizabeth Davis finish 21st in the collegiate eight race, stopping the clock at 18:09.89 … finished seventh in the novice eight race as the crew, coxed by Lauren Peartree, finished the race in a time of 18:41.81 … raced in flight one of the novice eight heats against Iowa, Indiana and Michigan State, crossing the line in fourth place at 14:31.40 … named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Played both soccer and basketball, earning eight varsity letters, at Trinity School … named team captain and MVP during her senior soccer season, helping her team earn a conference championship … also served as team captain and MVP of basketball team during junior and senior seasons … member of the 1,000-point club at Trinity … born in South Bend, Ind. … daughter of Kevin and Katherine McShane … has three siblings … both parents are Notre Dame graduates and brother, Kevin, is currently attending … graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from the College of Engineering.
