Played in all 30 contests and was in the starting lineup in 12 of those games … started first four games of the season against Lafayette, Hofstra, North Carolina State and Michigan … also earned starts in five consecutive contests versus Syracuse, Providence, Marquette, Georgetown and Villanova … started Notre Dame’s first-round game against Georgetown in the BIG EAST Tournament and in both National Invitation Tournament games against Vanderbilt and Michigan … averaged 6.4 points and 5.1 rebounds … netted double figures in seven contests … registered first career double-double in win over South Florida when he scored 10 points and grabbed a personal-best 11 boards … followed that up with an 11-point performance against Seton Hall which marked the first time in his career that he scored in double figures in back-to-back contests … in the game connected on a career-best nine free throws on 10 attempts … posted second career double-double against Georgetown in first round of BIG EAST Championship as he scored 11 points and grabbed 11 boards … started the season opener against the Leopards which marked his first career start and scored a career-high 18 points, hitting 8-10 shots from the field … also in that game grabbed a career-high eight boards playing a then career-best 25 minutes … for his performance was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the week of November 21, 2005 in win over Hofstra when he scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds … netted third double-figure scoring outing of the season against Syracuse when he finished with 15 points and five rebounds … played 20-plus minutes in 13 contests and 30-plus minutes in two games, including a personal-best 43 in double overtime loss to Georgetown … in the loss to the Hoyas finished with 14 points on 6-11 shooting from the field and grabbed seven boards … grabbed seven rebounds in win over Hofstra … had six rebounds in back-to-back contests against Alabama and Florida International … also scored six points in wins over Florida International and Columbia … netted double figures for third time in his career against Fordham as he finished with 10 points and dished off a career-high three assists … blocked a career-high five shots in addition to grabbing eight rebounds against Wofford … in second meeting with Marquette played 20 minutes and finished with seven boards … finished with four points and eight rebounds in 18 minutes off the bench in the second matchup against Providence … netted five points and grabbed four rebounds in second meeting with DePaul … scored nine points and grabbed nine rebounds against Vanderbilt … also netted nine points against Michigan in addition to grabbing five rebounds … led the Irish in rebounding in four games … grabbed seven-plus rebounds in 11 contests.

Played in 14 games and averaged 1.4 points and 1.1 rebounds off the bench … registered career-bests of 11 points and seven rebounds in NIT first round game against Holy Cross as he played a personal best 19 minutes … connected on 6-11 shots from the free-throw line … played 10-plus minutes in two games (also against IPFW) … saw action in each of Notre Dame[apos]s first three games … played five minutes in the season opener against Harvard and registered a rebound and a blocked shot … scored his first collegiate points against IPFW as he finished with two points and four rebounds in 12 minutes of action off the bench … netted three points against Marist.
