AS A FIFTH-YEAR SENIOR: Did not compete during the cross country season … ran third leg on the 4x800m team with teammates Jack Favorite, Eddy Gibbons and Jeremy Rae that took first place (7:34.19) at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships and earned all-BIG EAST accolades … placed fourth in heat two of the 800m run with a time of 1:54.67 at the Polytan Invitational … named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star … a member of the Notre Dame Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), serving as the Monogram Club representative.

AS A SENIOR: Competed in two meets during the cross country season … placed 19th out of 88 runners (25:32.3) in the 8K ‘B’ race at the Wisconsin Invitational … also ran at the BIG EAST Championships (24:56.1), finishing 52nd out of 123 runners on the 8K course … earned a cross country monogram … won a national championship with the distance medley relay team (9:35.48) at the NCAA Indoor National Championships … ran third leg (800m) in 1:51.34 … ran with Johnathan Shawel, Chris Giesting and Jeremy Rae … was school[apos]s first indoor relay title … served the Irish in 16 track & field meets … placed third in the 800m (1:53.42) and second in the 4x800m relay (7:28.57), earning two all-BIG EAST scrolls at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships … also teamed with Shawel, Giesting and Rae to win the DMR at the Alex Wilson Invitational and break the school mark (9:29.72) … finished first at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships in the 4x800m (7:25.97), earning all-BIG EAST honors … earned a monogram … was the 2011-12 Leaders of Distinction Award Recipient for men[apos]s track & field … was a 2011-12 Rosenthal Leadership Academy participant … was named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star.

AS A JUNIOR: Placed 10th in heat four at the Stanford Invitational … placed fifth overall at the Purdue Mike Poehlein Invitational for the 800m with a finishing time of 1:54.80 … placed first (1:54.47) in heat one at the Texas Roadhouse Border Battle, good for ninth overall … finished third overall at the Purdue Dave Rankin Invitational in the 800m with a time of 1:57.48 … competed with Lorenz, Labus and Howard in the 4x800m relay at the Drake Relays and finished third overall with a time of 7:25.75 … narrowly missed the cutoff at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships for the 800m placing 11th in the preliminaries with a time of 1:54.06 … posted a personal best in the 800m at the Louisville Cardinal Twilight, placing fourth overall with a time of 1:51.24.

AS A SOPHOMORE: First-place finish in the 1,000m at the Notre Dame Indoor Opener with a 2:28.02 … opened the indoor season at the Blue & Gold Invitational by running the 1,600m in 4:12.61, good for second place, while just missing the winning time by .07 … placed third in the 4x400m (3:27.84) at the Notre Dame Indoor Opener … fifth place finish in the 1,600m at the Notre Dame Invitational in 4:10.21.

AS A FRESHMAN: Had an immediate impact in relays … made Notre Dame debut in the 1,000m at the Blue and Gold Invitational, placing fifth with a 2:29.99 … finished fifth in the 1,600m at the Notre Dame Indoor Opener (4:16.74) … placed ninth in the 800m at the Notre Dame Invitational with a 1:54.41 … ran the 800m in 1:54.31 at the Finlay Open Multi-Event to finish fourth … placed eighth in the 1,000m at the Meyo Invitational (2:27.30) … part of the 4x800m relay team that picked up a fourth-place finish at the prestigious Drake Relays … earned all-BIG EAST honors on the 4x800m relay team by finishing third at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships.
