AS A SOPHOMORE:

• Competed at the ACC Indoor Championships with a 400m dash time of 49.52 seconds
• Established a PR in the 200-meter dash (22.42) at the Louisville Invitational
• Runner-up in the 4×400-meter relay (3:18.76) and a PR in the 400-meter dash (49.13) at the Blue and Gold Invitational

AS A FRESHMAN:

• Placed third in the 4×400-meter relay (3:22.08) at the Michigan Wolverine Invitational
• Raced to a runner-up finish in the 4×400-meter relay (3:21.41) and third place with a PR in the 600-meter run (1:23.45) at the Blue and Gold Invitational

PREP AND PERSONAL:

• Graduated in 2016 as the salutatorian from Montgomery (Ala.) Catholic Preparatory School
• Played varsity baseball for four years and ran track as a senior
• Was the state champion in the 200m, 400m and the 4x400m relay
• Broke the 25-year-old state record in the 400m dash
• Son of Colonel Ray O’Mara (USAF Retired) and Michele O’Mara
• Has one sister, Madeleine, who graduated from Notre Dame in 2018
• Majoring in political science with a minor in business economics
