  • Played in all 21 games and made 13 starts in her second season with the Irish.
  • Tallied two goals, one assist and five points over 1,108 minutes played.
  • Her first goal of the season came in the 4-0 home win over St. John’s.
  • She scored one of the biggest goals of the season in the 86th minute in the 1-1 2OT tie to No. 9 Duke on the road.
  • Career-high 102 minutes played came in the 3-2 2OT win over Wake Forest to clinch a spot in the ACC Championship.


  • Appeared in all 18 games and made seven starts during her first season with the Irish.
  • One of six freshmen to start and one of three to score a goal in their first collegiate season.
  • Scored her first career goal on the road against Butler.
  • Earned her first start the following game and scored the equalizer in Notre Dame’s 2-1 comeback win over Cincinnati.


  • Competed with the United States Under-18 Women’s National Team as well as the U.S. Under-16 Girls National Team.
  • Wingate participated in several U.S. soccer international training camps and tournaments in England (2017), Netherlands (2016) and the Tournament of Gradisca, Italy (2016).
  • Played two seasons at Wilmington High School, where she was NSCAA All-New England and NSCAA All-State after scoring 17 goals as a junior.
  • Was a four-time Honor Roll selection and a member of the Medical Careers Club.
