Served as a team captain during his senior season … played in 41 career games, including 23 starts … tallied 40 points on 28 goals and 12 assists … 25 ground balls … missed a good portion of his senior season with a knee injury … earned three monograms.

AS A SENIOR (2012): One of three team captains … played in six games, including one start … missed a good portion of the season due to a knee injury … notched three goals and four ground balls … started the season opener against Duke but suffered the knee injury on the play in which scored the team[apos]s first goal of the campaign … the tally sliced Notre Dame[apos]s deficit to one and the Irish went on to defeat the Blue Devils, 7-3 … missed the next nine games due to the injury … returned to action in the 10-7 win over Villanova … scored his second goal of the season in a 13-7 win over Yale in the first round of the NCAA Championship … pulled Notre Dame back to within one goal (4-3) with a tally in the second quarter of a 7-5 setback to Loyola in the semifinals of the NCAA Championship … earned his third monogram.
