2020-21 AWARDS AND HONORS

  • Academic All-Big Ten (March 17)
  • Notre Dame’s Compton Family Leadership in Service Award (May 7)

AS A JUNIOR

  • Served as the team’s captain.
  • Played in 27 games while scoring the first four goals of his career and adding three assists for seven points. 
  • His four goals ranked third among Irish defenseman and he also finished with a team-high 10 penalties on the season (31 minutes). 
  • Notched his first career goal in Notre Dame’s 3-2 win at fourth-ranked Michigan on Nov. 27. 
  • Also scored against Arizona State (Dec. 3), Ohio State (Dec. 13) and Penn State (march 5). 
  • After the season, signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club (April 5) and made his professional debut with the AHL’s Colorado Eagles.
  • Finished his Irish career with 103 career games over three seasons, scoring four goals and adding 15 assists for 19 points.

AS A SOPHOMORE

  • Recorded nine assists and +8 rating in 37 games played as a sophomore.
  • His +8 rating ranked second on the team.
  • Recorded two assists in the 5-4 overtime road victory against #15 Wisconsin (Nov. 16).
  • The two-assist game marked his first career multi-point game.

AS A FRESHMAN
• Recorded three assists and a +3 rating in 39 games played as a freshman.
• Notched his first career point with the primary assist on Alex Steeves’ opening goal in Notre Dame’s 5-1 win over RPI (Nov. 30).
• Had the primary assist on Matt Steeves’ goal against Boston College which gave the Irish a 2-0 lead in an eventual 4-0 victory (Dec. 31).
• Missed the Jan. 5 game versus Michigan with a lower body Boulder, Colorado injury.

NHL DRAFT

  • Selected by the Colorado Avalanche in the sixth round, 161st overall, of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.

IN THE USHL

  • Joins the Irish after two seasons in the USHL, competing for three teams.
  • Started the 2017-18 season with the Tri-City Storm before playing for the Des Moines Buccaneers and Sioux City Musketeers.
  • Registered seven points on as many assists during his time in Sioux City and had a plus-four on ice rating through 19 games.
  • Scored a goal and two assists for three points with Des Moines.
  • Assisted on three goals during his time with the Tri-City Storm at the beginning of the 2017-18 season.

PREP AND PERSONAL

  • Attended Culver Military Academy in Culver, Indiana.
  • Played for Culver Military Academy’s U16 and Prep team all four years, registering 103 points (20-83-103).
  • Tallied 43 points off nine goals and 34 assists in his junior season.
