HONORS AND AWARDS:

  • 2019 ACC Championships, Women’s Epee Runner-Up.
  • 2019 All-ACC
  • 2019 All-ACC Academic Team

AS A SENIOR:

  • Ended the season with her highest career finishes, claiming second at the ACC Championships and earning All-ACC recognition
  • Finished the year 39-18, bringing her career record to 101-45
  • Went 22-2 over two days at the DeCicco Duals
  • Went 4-1 during team play at the ACC Championships to help the Irish claim the title
  • Named to the All-ACC Academic Team
  • Earned a monogram

AS A JUNIOR:

  • Competed at the Elite Invitational where she finished with a 3-5 record

AS A SOPHOMORE:

  • Went 35-12 during rookie campaign
  • Season was highlighted by fourth-place women’s epee finish at the ACC Championship
  • Went 35-12 in dual bouts on the season
  • Bounced back from an 0-4 start to win next 16 bouts at NYU Invitational (4-0) and DeCicco Duals (12-0)
  • Went 12-6 at the Northwestern Invitational
  • Posted a 7-2 record during team competition at the ACC Championships, helping the Irish to a third straight ACC title
  • Earned a monogram

PREP AND PERSONAL:

  • Graduated from Westchester Academy for International Studies in June 2015
  • Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, but now calls Houston, Texas, home
  • Competes with the Alliance Fencing Academy along with Irish teammate Darius Zacharakis and former Irish fencers and Olympians Kelley Hurley (’11)  Courtney Hurley (’13)
  • Member of the British women’s epee team
  • Has a wealth of experience on the domestic and international stage, with several highlights
  • Placed third in junior women’s epee at the Commonwealth Fencing Junior Championships in July 2015 while helping the team to a third-place finish
  • Two-time North American Cup epee team champion with AFA (2011 and 2013)
  • Also claimed gold with in junior team epee at the 2012 Junior Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Placed third individually at the 2014 June Junior North American Cup in Columbus, Ohio
  • Claims placing seventh in women’s individual epee at the Cadet World Championships in Porec, Croatia in April 2013 as biggest athletic thrill to date
  • Daughter of Andrew and Nicky Hudson
  • Younger sister to brothers Jack and Liam and older sister to brother Rhys
  • Brother Jack fenced at Princeton
