AS A SOPHOMORE (2014): NFCA Division I All-America Second-Team selection … NFCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region First Team … All-ACC First Team … breakout performer for Notre Dame at first base, setting career-highs with a .382 batting average, 60 hits, 17 doubles, one triple, 15 home runs, 61 RBI, a .790 slugging percentage, a .434 on-base percentage and 36 runs scored in only 51 games (49 starts) – home run and RBI totals led all Notre Dame hitters … ranked second in the ACC in doubles and RBI (10th nationally), was fourth in slugging percentage and home runs, fifth in total bases and sixth in batting average … recorded a team-high 21 multiple-RBI games, including six starts with three or more RBI, and ranked third on the Irish roster with 20 multi-hit games … team-best .477 average (31-for-65) with runners in scoring position, along with a .386 clip (22-for-57) with two outs … batted .370 with six home runs and 13 RBI in 16 games against other NCAA Championship qualifiers during the regular season … led all Notre Dame batters with 23 two-out RBI … paced all ACC batters with a 1.111 slugging percentage, nine home runs, 33 RBI and 70 total bases in conference play, and was second with a .508 league batting average and nine doubles, while ranking third with a .543 on-base percentage … hit first home run of the season, and added a double, three RBI and two runs scored in a win over No. 23 Louisville (Feb. 16) … came through with a key pinch-hit, two-run double against BYU (Feb. 20) at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic … perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs the following day against UC Davis (Feb. 21) … smashed a three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning against California (Feb. 22) … chipped in two hits, including a double, and three RBI later in the day against Cal State Fullerton (Feb. 22) … blasted first career grand slam and scored three runs in return from illness in series finale at Georgia Tech (March 9) to give Notre Dame its first ACC series victory … 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in opening game of an ACC set at Virginia Tech (March 15) … homered for the second straight game against the Hokies in the nightcap (March 15) … ripped two hits and scored three runs against Ball State (April 1) … two-run home run and three total RBI the following day in non-conference home start versus Michigan State (April 2) … tied a program single-game record with three doubles during a 3-for-4 first game of an ACC doubleheader at North Carolina (April 9) … drove in a pair of runs to complete the Notre Dame sweep of the Tar Heels (April 9) in the nightcap … reached base in all three plate appearances, adding a double and two RBI in a win over No. 7 Florida State (April 13) … 2-for-4 outing with a solo home run in the second game of the day against the Seminoles (April 13) … enjoyed best career series at Virginia, opening weekend with a 2-for-3 performance that included two doubles and two runs scored against the Cavaliers (April 18) … added two more hits, including a home run and two RBI, in the nightcap against Virginia (April 18) … tied a program record for hits in a single game by going 5-for-5 with a double and five RBI to help Notre Dame complete the sweep of Virginia (April 19) … homered in three straight games against North Carolina State (April 22), Valparaiso (April 24) and Maryland (April 27) … added a home run and three RBI on ESPNU’s ACC Monday against Maryland (April 28) … game-winning three-run home run clinched a quarterfinal ACC Championship win over Boston College (May 8) … 4-for-8 with a double and three RBI in two games against Long Beach State (May 16-17) during the NCAA Los Angeles Regional.

AS A FRESHMAN (2013): Named to the All-BIG EAST Third Team in only season playing in the conference – was the first Notre Dame freshman to earn all-conference honors since Laura Winter (2011) … finished freshman season with the ninth-best career fielding percentage (.988) among Irish players with 150 or more career chances … led all Irish freshmen with a .259 batting average, two home runs, 13 RBI and 10 runs in 42 games (27 starts) … made first career start at first base at Charlotte (Feb. 9), contributing an RBI and making 11 putouts in the field … picked up first career hit, a three-run home run in the second inning, as part of a 2-for-3 day against Cal Poly (Feb. 15) … logged an RBI single and scored a run against Liberty (Feb. 23) … clocked a two-run double in only at-bat against Boston College (March 2) … had second career multi-hit game the following day against Maryland (March 3) … registered a pinch-hit RBI single at the ASU Diamond Devil Invitational against New Mexico State (March 10) … 1-for-2 with a double against Iona (March 15) … roped a pinch-hit two-run single in the second game of a BIG EAST doubleheader at Georgetown (April 3) … smashed second home run of the season and scored three runs during the first game of a doubleheader against Rutgers (April 14) … recorded an RBI single to help the Irish cause at Pittsburgh (April 20).

PREP AND PERSONAL: Three-time all-conference choice while prepping at Mater Dei (Calif.) … competed on the travel circuit with the California Angels … led Angels to the 2011 ASA 18-under Champions Cup title, while also winning the same event in 2009 in the 16-under division … team Most Valuable Player as a senior … missed the bulk of her junior season with an injury but managed to hit .423 in 15 games with 13 RBI … first team all-Trinity League choice in 2010 while Mater Dei claimed the league title … named team’s defensive MVP as a sophomore … first team all-league selection as a freshman … also earned team’s “Clutch Hitter” award after Mater Dei won the Trinity League trophy in 2009 … follows the footsteps that Mater Dei graduate and Irish All-American third baseman Heather Johnson (`11) took to the Golden Dome … Heisman Trophy winner John Huarte also prepped at Mater Dei … daughter of Marie O’Beck, who played softball at Long Beach State … member of the National Honor Society, California Scholarship Federation, campus ministry and Renaissance Club … hails from the same area as Irish teammates Casey Africano and Karley Wester … graduated from the Mendoza College of Business with a degree in marketing.
