2009 Francis Patrick O[apos]Connor Award- 2007 BIG EAST Player of the Week (Nov. 12)

AS A SENIOR (2009): Closed out her spirited career by playing in 49 sets across 22 matches … totaled 58 kills (1.18/set), six assists, four aces, 48 digs and 18.0 blocks for 72.5 points … opened the door with six kills (.545) on 11 errorless swings with an ace in a 3-0 triumph over Denver (Aug. 28) … six kills and four digs with two blocks at Xavier (Sept. 4) … seven kills and an ace at Florida State (Sept. 20) … five kills at St. John[apos]s (Sept. 27) and WVU (Oct. 18) … season-best four blocks came during a Senior Day win over USF (Nov. 15), including two solo stuffs and a pair of block assists … had two kills and two blocks to close out the season against Ohio (Dec. 4) at the NCAA Tournament.

AS A JUNIOR (2008): Appeared in 66 sets through 24 matches … played in each of the five sets with Western Michigan (Sept. 21) en route to recording 14 digs and three blocks … also added three kills and an ace in that match while cleanly fielding 33 serves … aced Marquette (Nov. 2) three times, adding two more during a 3-0 home sweep over West Virginia (Oct. 11) … also had 13 digs, a pair of assists and two solo blocks against the Golden Eagles … notched one of her seven assists on the year against Louisville (Nov. 23) in the championship match of the BIG EAST Tournament … did not commit a receiving error through the first six matches of the season, totaling 13 errorless contests on the year … averaged 0.55 kills/set and 0.98 digs/set … one of eight Irish players that helped claim the Collegiate Beach Volleyball Challenge at Fiesta On Siesta Key team title.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2007): Logged 28 starts and saw action in 109 sets for the Irish … third on the team with 340 kills (3.12/set) … carried a .217 attack pct. while hitting over .300 in eight matches … notched 194 digs (1.78/set), good enough for fifth on the squad … third on the team with 398.5 points (3.66/set) … cleanly received opponent[apos]s serves with a .953 average … posted double-digit kills in 19 matches for the Irish, including each of the first nine to start the season … finished the campaign with 14+ kills in each of the final six contests … notched seven double-doubles on the season … recorded 20+ kills in four matches … earned a spot on the all-tournament team at Missouri[apos]s Tiger Invitational after blitzing Florida International (Sept. 1) for 20 kills with a .366 clip … named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll (Sept. 3) … scooped 19 digs against Alabama (Sept. 8) while sliding through with 20 kills … against College of Charleston (Sept. 7), had a career-high four solo blocks en route to earning all-tournament team honors at the Shamrock Invitational … had seven blocks against No. 11 California (Sept. 15) … tallied 13 kills and 17 digs in the BIG EAST opener at Pittsburgh (Sept. 22) … assisted on four scores at West Virginia (Sept. 23) … locked in with 15 kills against Villanova (Sept. 30), finishing with a .400 attack average … threw down 21 kills against No. 17 Louisville (Nov. 11), then blazed Cincinnati (Nov. 16) for 21 more one match later to begin to the BIG EAST Tournament … sliced the defense for three aces at Tennessee (Nov. 23) … named the BIG EAST Player of the Week on Nov. 12, giving Notre Dame the first sweep of the weekly honors by a league team as Kellie Sciacca was tabbed the conference[apos]s top rookie … was only the second sophomore to win the award through 12 weeks of play.

AS A FRESHMAN (2006): Saw action in 83 sets and played in 31 matches … started 22 contests … totaled four double-doubles … slammed a career-best 16 kills and 18 points against Valparaiso (Sept. 1) … also totaled 10 digs against the Crusaders for her first career double-double … had 11 kills and 16 digs against No. 13 Missouri (Sept. 2) in the championship game of the Shamrock Invitational … turned in a team-best 13 kills and 11 digs versus Arizona State (Sept. 17) in the Sun Devil Classic … had 12 kills against Marquette (Oct. 6) then 11 kills and nine digs against Syracuse (Oct. 8) … recorded 10 kills on a .450 hitting pct. against St. John[apos]s (Oct. 22) … good for 10 kills on a .350 hitting pct. versus Georgetown (Nov. 3) … sixth on the team with 201 kills (2.42/set) … finished third on the squad with 26 service aces (0.31/set) … fifth on the team with 188 digs … scratched out 248 points (2.99/set) … led the team in hitting pct. in three matches.
