AS A JUNIOR (2023-24)

  • Went a best time in the 100 free (44.33) and 100 fly (48.62) at the Ohio State Winter Invite. Also notched a season best 20.34 in the 50
  • At the Tim Welsh Classic, placed ninth in the 100 free (45.38), and competed in the 50 free (20.81), 100 fly (50.11). Helped place third in the 800 free relay, fourth in the 200 free relay, fifth in the 400 medley and 400 free relays, eighth in the 200 medley relay.
  • Swam four relays plus the 50 (21.23) and 100 free (45.88) against Princeton and Navy
  • Competed in the 50 and 100 free plus 100 fly at the Ohio State Fall Invitational. Best finish was 29th in the 100 free (45.27)
  • Took eighth in the 50 free (20.97), seventh in the 100 free (45.88) and second in the 400 free relay at Louisville
  • Placed sixth in the 50 free (20.45), ninth in the 100 free (45.25) and swam four relays against Pitt and Penn State
  • Swam four events against Purdue: 50 free (21.01), 100 free (45.95), 200 medley relay (fifth) and 400 free relay (third)

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022-23)

  • Competed in six meets
  • Took third in the 50 free at the Ohio State Winter Invite with a personal best of 20.22. Finished seventh in the 100 fly at the meet with a personal best of 48.87

AS A FRESHMAN (2021-22)

  • Competed at the 2022 ACC Championships in the 50 freestyle (20.65), 100 freestyle (45.18) and 100 butterfly (49.85).
  • Finished 11th in the 100 freestyle (45.79) at the Tim Welsh Classic.
  • Placed 28th in the 100 freestyle finals (45.45) at the Ohio State Invitational.
  • Finished sixth in the 100 freestyle (45.85) in the dual meet against Purdue.
  • Placed fourth in the 50 freestyle (21.20) and fifth in the 100 freestyle (45.90) in his first collegiate meet against Pittsburgh and Cleveland State.

PREP AND PERSONAL

  • Three-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American (sophomore, junior and senior)
  • Three-year team captain at Memorial.
  • Three-time team MVP (sophomore, junior and senior)
  • Best times: 50 Free (20.50), 100 Free (44.59), 200 Free (1:39.00), 100 Fly (49.52).
  • Holds the school record in the 50 Free, 100 Free and 100 Fly.
  • Was the 6A state runner up in the 50 and 100 Free as a sophomore and junior.
  • Was the Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference (COAC) Swimmer of the Year as a sophomore, and was named All-City first team three years in a row (sophomore-senior).
  • Named to Memorial HS honor roll and superintendent honor roll all four years. Also served on superintendent advisory council as a sophomore and junior, and was elected to Student Council as a representative (freshman and sophomore) and vice president (junior).
  • Swims for American Energy Swim Club, where he was Elite Team Captain as a junior and senior.
  • Holds club team record in the 50 yard and 50 meter Free, and in the 100 yard Free.
  • Has done considerable service work through Student Council to benefit several organizations. Also led club team in service project partnering with the Blue Star Mothers of America sending Christmas boxes to soldiers stationed Kuwait. After gathering items from his team, he and his family sorted materials to provide to the Blue Star Mothers.
  • Has also served as a Summer League swim coach for a local neighborhood swim team.
  • “I chose Notre Dame because of the school’s outstanding reputation. The team seems like a great fit and the coaches were helpful all through the recruitment process.  I can’t wait to be a part of this amazing program,” Myers said.
  • Majoring in finance with a minor in real estate
  • Parents are Janie and Max Myers, who both attended the University of Kansas, and has one brother, Alex.
