AS A JUNIOR (2015): Started in all 15 games … collected 29 ground balls … anchors a Notre Dame defense … ACC Defensive Player of the Year … first-team all-conference choice … signature performance came on May 16 in Notre Dame’s 14-10 NCAA Championship quarterfinal win over Albany helping spark the Irish back to NCAA Championship Weekend for the second consecutive season … United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-America honors as the nation’s top player on defense … selected for the ACC All-Academic Men’s Lacrosse Team … earned his third monogram.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2014): Played in all 18 games, including 17 starts, in the close defense … picked up 14 ground balls … scooped up a season-high three ground balls in the 8-7 setback to Penn State … picked up two ground balls in four games … earned his second monogram.

AS A FRESHMAN (2013): Played in 15 games and picked up 23 ground balls … collected four ground balls on a 12-10 setback to St. John’s … had a season-high six ground balls in a 10-8 victory over Georgetown … three ground balls in a 9-3 loss to Syracuse in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Championship … a BIG EAST Academic All-Star … earned a monogram.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Ranked No. 66 in the Inside Lacrosse Power 100 Freshmen … rated as the 18th best defenseman in the class of 2012 by Inside Lacrosse … played four seasons of varsity lacrosse at Pelham Memorial High School … earned All-America and first-team all-state honors during his senior season … four-time Westchester County All-League … Westchester County All-Section as a junior and senior … captained his squad during his final two campaigns … also a standout on the Pelham Memorial football and hockey teams … named Pelham Memorial’s 2012 Athlete of the Year … third team all-New York State linebacker during his junior season … Westchester County All-League in football as a sophomore and junior in addition to being Westchester County All-Section in 2011 … was the football team’s defensive MVP as a sophomore and junior … played four seasons of hockey at Pelham Memorial … earned first-team all-state (Division II) accolades in hockey as a junior and senior … received the 2012 Russ Simons Sportsmanship Award (only one award per conference) … two-time hockey team captain … three-time Westchester County All-League and two-time Westchester County All-Section on the ice … a high honor roll student … National Science Honor Society … very active in community service activities while at Pelham High School … son of Robert and Norma Landis … enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business as a finance major … carries a 3.410 cumulative GPA.
