IN THE FALL: Made fall debut at the Head of the Rock, rowing in the varsity four ‘4’ boat and placing 11th out of 26 boats with a time of 16:33.53 … sat in the varsity four ‘D’ boat that grabbed a third-place finish against Indiana and Iowa in South Bend with a final time of 14:43.0.

AS A FRESHMAN: Sat as a member of the first novice eight crew for the spring season…in opening race of the spring schedule, helped her boat complete the course in 8:06.59 and earn a second-place finish against Michigan State…helped her boat produce a race win the following day against Indiana and Purdue by finishing the race in 6:15.40…competed in both morning and afternoon sessions of the four-team Ohio State regatta…in the morning session her boat finished the race in 6:59.13 and earned second place behind the host Buckeyes…helped her crew grab the afternoon session race victory by completing the course with a winning time of 6:53.80 over Minnesota…helped row novice eight to qualifying race victory at the BIG EAST Championships, posting a time of 7:24.704…later captured the silver medal in the grand final, finishing the course in 7:08.309…at the South/Central Sprints, helped the novice eight boat qualify for the Petite Finals after earning a fourth-place outcome (6:52.11) in the prelim heat and then a sixth-place result (6:43.60) in the semifinal heat…helped her boat claim fifth place in the Petite Final with a time of 6:42.80…saw first action as a member of the Irish at the Head of the Rock Regatta, rowing with the Notre Dame ‘D’ boat in the varsity eight competition…the crew earned a 17th place finish with a final time of 18:15.00…later helped the Notre Dame ‘A’ boat capture 1st place in the novice eight race, crossing the finish line with a winning time of 17:29.50…competed in the varsity eight race at the Southland Regatta as a crew member of the Notre Dame ‘D’ boat, finishing the race in 18:27.46.

PREP & PERSONAL: Played soccer and ran track and cross country at St. Ursula Academy in Cincinnati before focusing on rowing … after switching to rowing, moved from fourth novice eight to first varsity eight boat in four weeks … won three Midwest Regional championships (twice in eight boat, once in four) … placed 10th at nationals in 2007 and followed that up with an 8th place finish in 2008 … invited to row in the Opening Day Regatta in Seattle … member of National Honor Society … born October 23, 1990, in Cincinnati … daughter of Doug and Kathleene Lang … brother Kyle Lang is a sophomore distance runner on the track and cross country teams at the University of Cincinnati … cousin John Taggart ([apos]01) was a cheerleader at Notre Dame … enrolled in the First Year of Studies.
