AS A SENIOR (2009): Team co-captain … rounded out career by playing in her 236th game, tied for 12th all-time … ninth on the career list with 42 doubles, eighth with 23 home runs, 11th with 119 RBI and second with 90 walks … team MVP … second team all-BIG EAST choice and found a spot on the BIG EAST Championship All-Tournament team … played in 57 games and aided the Irish defense with 81 assists and a .957 fielding percentage … boasted a .310 batting average and .579 slugging percentage … tied for second with Dani Miller with 11 home runs … joined Miller and Christine Lux to comprise the only Irish trio to hit 10+ home runs in the same season … racked up 99 total bases … laid down a team-best 12 sacrifice bunts … amassed 53 hits including 13 doubles and 36 RBI … sported a .324 batting average while slugging at a .689 rate in league play … had 24 hits in 23 conference games, 13 of which were for extra bases … five of her league games were marked by multiple RBI … added six sacrifices and struck out just five times in 74 BIG EAST at-bats … hit seven home runs in BIG EAST contests, good for 3rd in the conference … collected 51 total bases in BIG EAST play, ranking fourth in the league … season-high 14 putouts came against Sacramento State (Feb. 20) … went 1-for-3 against UC Santa Barbara (March 7) with her first home run of the season, a three-run bomb … one of three Irish players to hit a home run in the fourth inning against Northern Illinois (April 1), sparking an Irish scoring fest of nine unanswered runs … went 2-for-2 with two RBI and two runs scored against Seton Hall (April 5) … that performance was part of an eight-game hitting streak that included five multi-hit efforts … the streak was capped off with a 3-for-4 performance at Connecticut (April 11) … sent rockets out of the park in both games of a doubleheader against No. 22 DePaul (April 8) … belted a two-run dandy against North Dakota State in game two of the April 22 doubleheader that snapped a three-game homerless streak for Notre Dame (it was the team[apos]s longest drought without a home run since the second week of the season) … had three RBI and two hits with two runs in the series with North Dakota State … also hit a home run in her next outing against Syracuse (April 26) … went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run scored against Louisville (May 3) … trumped that showing with a 3-for-3 day including a solo home run versus the 17th-ranked Cardinals in the second round of the BIG EAST Championship (May 8).

AS A JUNIOR (2008): Team co-captain … tagged as a third-team all-BIG EAST performer after finishing fifth with 15 RBI and second overall with seven doubles in league play … also tied for eighth among conference contenders with 44 assists … school record holder for walks in a single season (39) and third all-time with 81 free passes to her name … boasted team[apos]s third-best batting average (.302) … second in slugging percentage (.477) and doubles (8) while totaling six home runs and 31 RBI … led the Irish with a .456 on-base clip … entering the team[apos]s conference home opener, she had drawn more walks (20) than hits (19) for an on-base percentage of .412 which led the team … was walked at least two times in 10 games on the season … bombed two homers during an 11-5 win against Wisconsin (April 16) including one dinger during a school-record three-homer fourth inning … the three homers were the most ever for Notre Dame in a single inning as the Irish totaled four homers in the contest, the first time since the team had done so since an April 9 meeting at Pittsburgh in 2006 … Meagan Ruthrauff had three blasts in that game with Kohan adding the fourth … her first homer against the Badgers christened the Melissa Cook Stadium scoreboard by leaving a noticeable point of impact … good for four RBI with three hits and two scores against Wisconsin … led all Irish hitters during the NCAA Regional with six RBI and five hits in three games … went 2-for-2 with four RBI including a home run in the opening bout with Kent State (May 16) … capped off the season one day later against Golden Flashes with a 3-for-4 effort and a pair of RBI … opened the season with one hit and one run scored while drawing two walks against Utah (Feb. 15) … unloaded for a perfect 2-for-2 day at the dish against North Florida (Feb. 23), also driving in one run … also hit by a pitch in that game … went 1-for-3 against UC Davis (March 1) and drove in a score … celebrated her 21st birthday by going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI at UC Riverside (March 4) … earned two walks in a matchup versus UCLA (March 7) … singled against Virginia Tech (March 8) … had two smooth knocks against both Towson (March 14) and Campbell (March 15) … registered her first multi-run effort of the season with two scores against the Camels … made her way on base with a walk against IUPUI (March 26) before scoring posting a run on the Jaguars … snapped a three-game hitting skid in game one against DePaul (March 30) by cranking a single through the left side of the infield … in the second game of the doubleheader with the Blue Demons, she sent her first homer of the season deep over the centerfield fence … also showed some smooth glovework in the contest by making several key defensive plays at the hot corner … came up big for the Irish at St. John[apos]s (April 5) during the doubleheader finale with the Red Storm … tied at 4-4, game two went into extra innings for the first time in the history of the 26-game series … five scoreless frames went by until Kohan belted a go-ahead solo homer to left to crack the game open as Notre Dame would record an 8-4 win in the 12-inning affair … she ended the contest in the bottom half of the stanza with a flash of the leather by snagging a liner and doubling-off a napping Red Storm runner at first for the final out … scored twice without recording a hit – but was walked twice – at Seton Hall (April 6) … had three hits in three games from April 12-13, each of which were good for two bases … sent the game-winning homer out of park at Louisville (April 19) on a nationally-televised contest against the Cardinals in the eighth inning to complete a come-from-behind victory in game one … followed that performance with three hits, two doubles and two runs parlayed with four RBI in game two … it was the second time in three games she recorded four RBI, giving her 10 during the trio of games from April 16-19 … had two hits against Providence (April 26) and Syracuse (May 4) … scored the game-wining run on Ashley Ellis[apos] eighth-inning single against Loyola-Chicago (April 24) … doubled against Connecticut (April 27), Valparaiso (April 29), and Syracuse (May 4) … played and started in 60 contests.
