AS A SOPHOMORE:

• Represented Notre Dame in the pole vault (4.50 meters) at the ACC Indoor Championships.
• Runner-up in the pole vault (4.55 meters) at the Alex Wilson Invitational.

AS A FRESHMAN:

• Competed in the pole vault (4.70 meters) at the ACC Indoor Championships.
• Secured first place in the pole vault (4.56 meters) at the Alex Wilson Invitational.
• Established a PR in the pole vault (4.75 meters) at the Notre Dame Invitational.
• Finished third in the pole vault (4.70 meters) at the Blue and Gold Invitational.

PREP AND PERSONAL:

• Graduated from Servite High School in June of 2016.
• Earned three varsity letters in track and field.
• Was named team captain and Field Event Athlete of the Year as a senior.
• Was a member of the Victory Athletics Pole Vault Club.
• Finished eighth at the California State Championships.
• Was the league champion.
• Set a PR of 15 feet, eight inches in the pole vault.
• Father, Don, was a cheerleader at Notre Dame and graduated in 1983.
• Has one brother, Jesse, and two sisters, Lindsey and Emily.
• Full name is Landon Joseph Shank.
• Born in Fullerton, California, to Don and Megan Shank.
• Intends to major in engineering.
