AS A SENIOR: Competed with the third varsity four boat at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, rowing with the third place boat (8:37.00) during the Saturday afternoon session against Michigan … closed out the season with the second varsity four boat the Dale England Cup, racing against Alabama and Indiana during the Saturday racing sessions.
AS A JUNIOR: Saw brief action for the Irish at the fifth annual Dale England Cup as a member of the third varsity four boat … crew finished third with a time of 8:24.4 in its first race before placing behind Iowa and host Indiana in the second race, crossing the finish line in 9:37.7.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Saw her only action of the season at the BIG EAST Invite for the third varsity eight ‘B’ boat as they claimed third, beating the Iowa ‘B’ team and the Rutgers squad (7:30.70).
AS A FRESHMAN: Did not row for the Irish in the spring season … took first place in the novice eight as a member of Notre Dame ‘A’ boat (16:51.16) and 11th in the varsity eight Notre Dame ‘D’ boat (17:04.87) in the Head of the Rock Regatta … rowed with the Notre Dame varsity eight ‘4’ boat that captured sixth place vs. Tulsa, clocking in at 15:11.3.
PREP AND PERSONAL: Competed in rowing and track while attending Karachi Grammar School in Karachi, Pakistan … also competed with national club team in sailing, winning medals in the Asian and Middle Eastern regatta circuits and attended pre-worlds … helped rowing team to undefeated season during freshman through senior years in both the fall and spring seasons, while also earning national ranking as a crew each of those years … in track, helped team to sectional championship in freshman, junior and senior years and was team captain during sophomore campaign … biggest athletic thrill to-date was winning the Petite Final at the Asian Rowing Championships … born in Karachi, Pakistan … daughter of Tariq and Mehnaz Ikram … has one sibling: Muhammad Sabir Ikram … currently enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business as a finance major.
