AS A FRESHMAN: Rowed with the second novice eight for most of the spring season, before moving to the novice four at the BIG EAST Championships … finished third in the opening heat of races against Buffalo, posting a time of 5:36.5 … concluded the second heat in third place with a mark of 5:41.2 … earned a third-place result against Michigan and Michigan State with a final time of 7:35.3 … the next day, captured a race victory against Purdue after recording a time of 8:02.8 … finished runner-up in the novice four grand final at the BIG EAST Championships, stopping the clock at 8:51.112 … raced with the novice eight boat coxed by Kerry Casey at the Head of the Rock Regatta … the crew finished in eighth place in the race (out of 15 boats), finishing the race in a time of 18:59.52 … competed with the Notre Dame ‘A’ boat in flight one of the novice eight races against Iowa, Indiana and Michigan State … the boat finished in fourth place with a final time of 14:31.40 … named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Competed in both lacrosse and soccer while attending high school at Clarence … earned six varsity letters, including four during her soccer career … helped soccer team to a conference championship during her sophomore and senior seasons … also served as team captain and was named all-conference during her senior soccer year … member of the National Honor Society as well as student government … born in Buffalo, N.Y. on July 20, 1991 … daughter of Jack and Terri Dunbar … has two siblings … sister, Kelly, is a current member of the class of 2010 at Notre Dame … father and uncle, Jimmy, both played football at the University of Buffalo … enrolled in the First Year of Studies.
