  • Holds the Texas state fly-fishing record for white bass on the Colorado River
  • Holds shares of ownership with Real Oviedo FC, a Spanish professional soccer club located in the town of Oviedo in northwest Spain – club plays in Segunda Division B – Group 1 (the third level of Spanish soccer, two steps below the famed elite La Liga)
