AS A SENIOR: Made season debut at Michigan State, racing with the fourth varsity four boat, placing second behind Michigan in both events … competed at the Dale England Cup as a member of the second varsity four A-team before moving to second four B-team … finished third in each boat with times of 8:28.4 and 10:13.9.

AS A JUNIOR: Competed for multiple Irish boats this season … earned first monogram … started the season at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite rowing for the third varsity four in a second place finish against Virginia (7:43.02) … also finished second to Kansas later in the afternoon with the third varsity eight (7:00.17), before taking home victory over Kansas in the third varsity four the next day (7:32.40) … competed in the third place finish against Ohio State (7:24.46), but battled back for the victory in the same boat the next day against Purdue (7:02.88) … qualified for (7:30.10) and won the third varsity eight final at the BIG EAST Invite with a time of 7:10.90 … continued on to defeat four other BIG EAST boats with the second varsity four in the prelims at the BIG EAST Championship (7:30.760), while finishing off the season with a win in the grand final, beating Louisville, Rutgers, West Virginia and Connecticut with the 15 second winning time of 7:44.378.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Opened spring competing for many different boats for the Irish … started the spring slate with two races against Buffalo … the first race was in the varsity four boat, finishing third behind Buffalo and a second Notre Dame boat while stopping the clock at 7:08.08 … later went on to place first in the third varsity eight – lightweight race with a time of 6:28.9 to edge out Buffalo … also competed in two events in Indianapolis … started her day with the second varsity eight crew and finished first (7:24.0) ahead of Purdue and Eastern Michigan … later in the day went on to finish first with the second varsity four boat, crossing the finish line at 7:34.4, ahead of Indiana and a second Notre Dame boat … qualified for the BIG EAST Championship grand final by placing first in preliminaries with a time of 7:22.21 … went on to win the BIG EAST Championship final by stopping the clocks at 7:03.24 … placed third (7:51.4) behind Clemson “A” and Virginia “B” in the Oak Ridge Regional preliminary heat for the open four, qualifying for the grand finals … went on to cross the finish line fourth (7:41.87) behind Virginia “A,” Clemson, and Virginia “B” … competed in the varsity four and varsity eight in the Head of the Rock Regatta … placed fourth on the Notre Dame varsity four “A” boat (17:43.69) and ninth in the varsity eight race with the Notre Dame “B” boat (16:39.58) … placed fourth in the varsity eight race with the Notre Dame “2” boat, stopping the clock at 14:47.1 and seventh in a time of 12:15.5 as a member of the Notre Dame varsity four “3” boat.

AS A FRESHMAN: Opened spring schedule as a part of the varsity four boat before shifting over to the second varsity eight boat at the BIG EAST Championships and Central/South Sprints … started the season by capturing the first four race victories with the varsity four boat … defeated Buffalo in back-to-back heats with times of 5:59.3 and 558.9 … defeated Michigan and Michigan State after posting a mark of 7:35.1 … knocked off Indiana, Buffalo, Purdue and Eastern Michigan the following day in a time of 8:06.7 … posted a pair of runner-up finishes against USC and UCLA, registering a time of 7:56.90 against the Trojans and 8:53.03 against the Bruins … won prelim heat (7:05.373) before capturing the grand final victory (7:21.397) with the second varsity eight boat at the BIG EAST Championships … placed fifth in the petite finals at the Central/South Sprints, recording a time of 7:08.19 … competed in both the collegiate eight and novice eight races in the Head of the Rock Regatta … helped her collegiate eight boat secure an 11th-place finish, stopping the clock at 16:33.53 … was a member of the victorious novice eight boat, coxed by Abby Meyers, that completed the course in a time of 16:15.34 to hold off Wisconsin … concluded the fall schedule at Notre Dame’s home meet, racing with the Notre Dame “C” varsity four boat on the second day of competition … finished in fourth place, posting a time of 15:12.00 … named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Was both a rower and a basketball player while attending St. Ignatius College Preparatory, lettering five times, including each year with rowing … helped her team to national ranking in her sophomore through senior years, including competing in the Scholastic Rowing Association of America (SRAA) Championships all three years … helped her varsity four boat place third at the championships during her junior campaign … member of the National Honor Society as well as Students Against Drunk Driving (SADD) … former Irish rower Elli Greybar attended the same high school … born in Evanston, Ill. … daughter of Joe Monahan and Kathy McDonald … has two siblings, Colin and Leigh … graduated with a degree in finance from the Mendoza College of Business.
