AS A FRESHMAN: Opened up the fall campaign at the Head of the Rock, racing in both the collegiate eight and novice eight races at the regatta … helped her collegiate eight boat to a 21st-place finish, posting a time of 18:09.89 … later helped take her boat to a race victory in the novice eight competition, holding off Wisconsin for the title with a winning time of 16:15.34 … raced in Notre Dame[apos]s home meet as a member of the Notre Dame ‘C’ varsity four boat … the crew earned a fourth-place result in flight two of the races, stopping the clock at 15:12.00 … named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Was a member of the tennis team while attending Moline High School, playing at No. 1 singles and doubles … helped team to the conference championship all four years and the regional championship in her freshman, junior and senior years – seasons in which she was later named team MVP … was an all-conference and all-city selection each year, including being named all-state during her freshman through junior years … also rowed with the Quad City Rowing Association during this time … helped her boat win club nationals in 2008, defeating the likes of Mexico, Pakistan and U.S. developmental teams … finished runner-up the previous year in the same event … member of the National Honor Society and Student Government … born in Davenport, Iowa on September 7, 1990 … daughter of Tom and Debbie Bracke … father played golf at the University of South Florida … has two siblings, John and David … enrolled in the First Year of Studies.
