AS A SENIOR: Coxswain for the Notre Dame varsity four boat during the spring campaign … earned a runner-up finish in the opening event against Michigan State, crossing the finish line in a time of 8:29.18 … served as coxswain for her boat to its first win of the season against Indiana and Purdue by completing the course in 6:49.80 … guided her boat to a pair of third-place finishes at the four-team regatta hosted by Ohio State … crossed after Brown and Ohio State in the morning session race, posting a time of 7:24.10 … finished the afternoon session race in a time of 7:25.07, stopping the clock after Brown and Minnesota … at the BIG EAST Championships, went two-for-two on the day by first capturing the prelim heat crown (7:53.814) and then going on to capture the gold medal (7:36.622) in the grand final for the Irish … helped the varsity four boat earn a spot in the grand final at the South/Central Sprints, finishing the preliminary heat in a time of 7:22.08 and earning a second-place outcome before finishing the semifinal heat in third place with a time of 6:59.10 … the crew went on to grab sixth place in the grand final, stopping the clock with a time of 7:13.40 … served as the coxswain for the varsity eight ‘A’ boat at the Head of the Rock Regatta … crew finished the race with a time of 16:37.40, which was good for fifth place (27 entries) and the best finish for the Irish team in the race … coxed the varsity eight ‘C’ boat at the Southland Regatta, leading her crew to a time of 18:27.46 … the finish in the first race qualified them for the ‘E’ final where they registered a time of 7:32.50 … named to the BIG EAST Academic All-Star Team … became two-time recipient of a monogram award for the Irish.

AS A JUNIOR: One of Notre Dame[apos]s coxswains for its varsity four boats … helped the varsity four green boat to two second-place finishes and a third-place finish in the spring season opener against Northeastern … coxed the varsity four to a first-pace finish at the Lubbers Cup (7:49.98) … coxswain of the third varsity four that took two second-place finishes versus Michigan State … guided the second varsity four to a first-place finish at the Indiana Invite (7:29.2) … coxed the second varsity four to first and second-place finishes at the Charles River Challenge … coxswain for the second varsity four in the BIG EAST Championship that took first-place with a time of 7:51.30 … led the open varsity four to a fourth-place finish at the Central/South Region Championship (7:39.70) … rowed to an eighth place finish at the Head of the Rock in the varsity eight competition finishing in a time of 16:15.53 … earned first monogram and was selected to the BIG EAST Academic All-Star Team.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Rowed in the second novice eight boat most of the season with the Irish, while also spending time with the novice four crew … helped the novice four boat to gold medal at the BIG EAST Championships (7:49.00) … made her novice four boat debut against Princeton … was a member of the novice eight boat that finished second at the Lubbers Cup with a time of 8:09.87 … rowed against Michigan in the second novice eight boat … sat in the second novice eight boat against Alabama … rode in the second novice eight boat, capturing second in two of three races with Tennessee and Minnesota … made her collegiate debut in the fall at the Head of the Rock, riding the novice eight ‘B’ boat to an eighth place finish (out of 23 boats) and rowing with the varsity ‘D’ boat.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Played varsity softball all four years of high school … selected as team MVP in her junior season … served as team captain during her senior year, leading the team to Independent School League (ISL) championship … garnered all-conference honors in final season … member of National Honor Society…served as president of student body … daughter of John and Kathleen McMackin … father is a 1974 Notre Dame graduate … one of three children … born June 3, 1987 in Washington, D.C. … enrolled in the College of Arts and Letters as a pre-professional and classics major.
