AS A SENIOR (2012):Started 28 of 32 games … was one of seven Irish roster members to hit .300 or better, closing the campaign with a .301 batting average … led all Irish batters with a .419 batting average (13-for-31) during BIG EAST play … gathered a total of 25 hits, logging multiple hits on six occasions … racked up 11 RBI overall, recording three multi-RBI games during the season … drilled a go-ahead three-run home run to lead Notre Dame to a comeback victory in game one of a doubleheader at Providence (April 28) … added a 2-for-4 effort in the night cap against the Friars … season-best seven-game hit streak stretched from series with Providence (April 28) through the final game at Pittsburgh (May 6) … added seven RBI and scored five runs during the streak.

AS A JUNIOR (2011):Saw action in 22 games while starting in 13 contest at second base and as a designated player … hit .207 with an on-base pct. of .343 and a slugging pct. of .241 … totaled eight runs and six hits with two RBI and one double … flawless from the field with 15 putouts and 11 assists without an error … scored five runs in her first three games of action, including two against both Delaware (Feb. 19) and Marist (Feb. 27) … also had two hits – including an RBI, double and drew a walk – against Marist … stole one base against Marist … started at second base against Louisville (April 17) and scored one run.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2010):Dependable both at the plate and in the field for the Irish … played in 36 games, starting nine of those contests … hit .314 with a .351 on-base pct. … slugging clip of .543 was aided by a double, one home run and two triples … scored one run and stole a base against Creighton (Feb. 12) … had two assists while seeing her first significant defensive action versus No. 1 Washington (Feb. 14) … first hit came against Eastern Michigan (March 23) … tripled at Seton Hall (March 27) while stealing a base and scoring one run … singled, scored and stole one base versus Georgetown (April 14) … singled once in two at-bats versus Bowling Green (April 28) … entering the three-game series at St. John[apos]s (May 8-9), had only recorded two hits in 11 conference at-bats for her career … an illness in the Irish lineup forced her into a starting role, and she responded with a banner weekend that included six hits in 10 at-bats and a slugging pct. of 1.200 … went 2-for-3 in the series opener (her first-ever multi-hit effort), hit her first career home run in game two, and went 3-for-4 in the finale – one single, one double and one triple – to fall just short of the cycle … in game three of the series, she tripled, singled and scored twice as part of a 10-run Irish output in the sixth inning … named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll (May 10) … singled in one run against Louisville (May 14) at the BIG EAST Tournament.

AS A FRESHMAN (2009):Reliable pinch-runner for the Irish … appeared in 35 games, scoring one run in 18 of those contests … stole one base against DePaul (April 8) and recorded her lone hit in a 1-for-1 effort during the home opener versus Toledo (March 18) … also scored in that contest against the Rockets … crossed the plate against No. 1 Alabama (Feb. 13) … scored in four straight games from March 8-March 13 … accounted for three scores in three consecutive games from April 4-Apri l5 … scored one run in each end of the April 19 doubleheader with Rutgers … good for one run in the NCAA Tournament versus Cleveland State (May 15).

PREP AND PERSONAL:The multi-sport start earned varsity letters in basketball, softball and soccer for Yorktown (N.Y.) … earned starting nods on three varsity sports during her freshman year … team captain as a senior when her team won the section title … all-state and all-section performer … named a Journal-News All-Star … finished the year with 35 RBI and nine home runs … high school[apos]s female student-athlete of the year … earned the Con Edison Award, which is handed out each week to the county[apos]s most outstanding performer on and off the field … part of the Diamond 9+1 team, a similar award given to just 10 softball players in her section … she capped off a junior season in which she hit .461 in 102 at bats by earning all-state honors … also scored 34 times and recorded 26 RBI on 47 hits, four of which were doubles and three went for three bags … had an on-base percentage of .486 and a slugging clip of .735 that was aided by six homers … over the course of Yorktown[apos]s season, she was good for 14 multi-hit contests and racked up at least a pair of RBI in eight more games … tabbed the North County News[apos] Athlete of the Month after hitting home runs in four consecutive games to close the 2007 season, as the last three of those came during her first at-bat of the game … the North County News also recognized her on its all-county team in 2007 and 2006, an honor she also collected from the Journal News … the New York State Public High School Athletic Association awarded her its scholar-athlete award during her respective soccer, basketball and softball seasons … led the Cornhuskers to a 24-4 mark and a Section 1 Class AA title in 2007, which was the school[apos]s first-ever softball championship … daughter of Karen and Donald O[apos]Connor … brothers, Kevin and Ryan, played lacrosse at Delaware and Boston College, respectively … born Oct. 30, 1990 … comes to Notre Dame from the same high school that yielded Irish swimmer Rebecca Grove (2004-07) …finance major in the Mendoza College of Business.
