• Established a PR in the weight throw (17.96 meters) during a ninth-place result at the ACC Indoor Championships
• Placed fourth in the weight throw with an attempt of 16.02 meters at the Alex Wilson Invitational
• Finished sixth in the weight throw (16.39 meters) at the Notre Dame Invitational

PREP AND PERSONAL:

• Gradutaed from Providence Senior High School
• Track and field all-state as a senior
• Set school record for indoor shot put and high jump in 2018
• Qualified for shot put and discus nationals as a senior
• Son of Steve and Michelle Jegier
• Has three brothers, Tommy, Matthew and Erich and one sister, Becky
• Comes from a long line of Irish graduates: Steve (1986), Becky (2015), Erich (2017) and Tommy (2020)
• Brother Matthew played soccer at Elon University
• Enrolled in First Year of Studies
