AS A SENIOR:Finished his career swimming at the NCAA Championship in the 100 and 200 fly events, as well as the 200 medley relay… swam to fifth place in 200 fly finals at the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championships (1:43.57)… also earned 18th place in 100 fly finals (47.48)… competed in three prelims at NCAA Championships… had career-best in 100 fly (47.05)… swam to first in 200 IM against Cleveland State, securing a career best (1:53.39)… swam the third leg of the 400 medley relay team that clinched first place at the Hawkeye Invitational (3:13.25)… had five top-two finishes in 200 fly… season best time at Hawkeye Invitational, swimming to second place (1:44.18)… touched the wall in fifth place at the Invitational in 500 free finals (4:27.38)… earned a monogram.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Enjoyed a stellar year for the Irish as one of a program record nine swimmers to qualify for the NCAA Championships … earned four points in the 200 fly (1:44.18) thanks to a 13th-place finish in the event at the NCAA Championships … defended his 200 fly championship with a school record breaking performance in the 200 fly (1:43.94), and also earned third in the 100 fly with a season-best time of 47.93 at the BIG EAST Championship … was the top swimmer in the 200 fly (1:49.88) at the Northwestern Invitational … earned three top-five finishes at the Shamrock Invitational with the 400 free relay (3:08.60), in the 200 fly (1:51.80) and with the 800 free relay (7:02.49) … earned two runner-up results in the 100 fly (51.25) and as part of the 200 free relay (1:27.73) against Cleveland State … against Louisville, was the second swimmer to the wall in the 200 fly (1:49.94) … was one of four recipients of the Notre Dame Most Improved Award at the season-ending team banquet … earned a monogram.

AS A FRESHMAN: Specialized in the free and fly in his first season with the Irish … set personal-bests in both the 500 free (4:26.50) and the 100 fly (49.27) at the BIG EAST Championships … won the 200 fly at the BIG EAST Championships with a time of 1:44.74, his third career-best time posted at the meet … earned a pair of fourth-place finishes in the 100 (51.54) and 200 fly (1:54.41) at the quad meet with Michigan, Oakland and TCU … won the 200 fly in a dual meet at Pittsburgh with a time of 1:51.32 for his first career race victory … claimed third place in the 200 fly (1:51.89) at Purdue … earned a monogram.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Earned four varsity letters while swimming as a prep at University (Ill.) … six-time All-American … fastest Illinois 16-year old ever in the 100 fly (LCM/SCY) and 200 fly (SCY) … second at the 2010 Illinois state meet in the 200 free (1:39.21) and 100 fly (49.49) … competed at the 2009 state meet in the 100 fly, 200 free, 200 medley relay and 400 free relay … finished seventh that season in the 100 fly … U.S. Nationals qualifier … holds school and area records in the 100 fly, 100 free, 200 free, 200 medley relay, and 400 free relay … member of the 2010 NCSA Junior National Team … son of Laura and Bill Williamson … one of five children … graduated from the College of Engineering, majoring in civil engineering.
