Bio

Jes Christian, a two-time Monogram winner with the Fighting Irish track & field program, graduated from Notre Dame’s College of Arts and Letters in May of 2014 with a degree in English. She began a four-year term on the Monogram Club Board of Directors in the fall of 2016.

During her time at Notre Dame, Christian served as president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) and was a captain on the track & field team. As a senior, Christian and her teammate Logan Renwick were the driving forces behind the Monogram Club’s initiative of issuing commencement stoles to graduating student-athletes and student support staff. She also created and implemented the structure for the Student Welfare and Development office’s IrishOn3 program, which awards points to Notre Dame student-athletes who attend other Fighting Irish games and events.

On the track, Christian, a native of Washington, D.C., specialized in the long and triple jump.

Christian earned a Master of Professional Studies in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University in August of 2016. During the years she spent at Georgetown, she also worked as an assistant track & field coach at her alma mater, Georgetown Day School. There, she assisted the team in winning conference and city-wide championships in each year that she coached.

In 2017 Christian founded Hypsole, a specialty sports footwear startup, where she currently works today. She developed an understanding of brand marketing and retail merchandising through her experience with Hypsole as well as through her former professional experiences. Prior to founding her company, she spent time interning and working for Condé Nast (Glamour Magazine) in fashion/editorial, Adidas in product marketing, and Under Armour in retail marketing.
