FIFTH-YEAR SEASON (2011): Graduated as one of the most decorated hitters in Notre Dame history … named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) third team All-American and an NFCA Great Lakes all-region first team selection, the BIG EAST Conference Player of the Year, and was an all-BIG EAST first team choice … tabbed as the Notre Dame Monogram Club Most Valuable Player … batted .383 with 11 doubles, 12 home runs, 64 RBI, a .651 slugging percentage and a .434 on-base percentage in 57 starts … concluded career as the program[apos]s RBI leader (214), and ranked second on the Irish all-time list in doubles (51) and total bases (406), third in games played (243), home runs (35), slugging percentage (.580) and field assists (403), fifth in walks drawn (77) and seventh in batting average (.354) and hits (248) … slapped a double and drove in a pair of runs at Central Florida (Feb. 18) … recorded three RBI the following day against Delaware (Feb. 19) … logged first multi-hit game of the season at the College of Charleston (Feb. 26) … blasted first home run of the year, a solo shot, against Maryland (March 5) at the Walt Disney Wide World of Sports Complex … crushed a solo home run in the first game of a doubleheader at Cal Poly (March 13) … 2-for-3 with two RBI against Northern Illinois (March 25) … added three hits, including a home run, and two RBI against Western Michigan (March 29) … hit second home run in as many days and drove in four runs in a win over Purdue (March 31) at Melissa Cook Stadium … turned in a banner BIG EAST series against Providence (April 2-3), batting a combined 7-for-9 (.778) with a home run, two doubles, eight RBI and three runs – RBI number surpassed the Friars[apos] run total for the set (8-7) … earned first BIG EAST Player of the Week award of the season (April 4) … went a cumulative 12-for-19 (.632) over the next five games, adding eight more RBI to take home a second straight BIG EAST Player of the Week citation (April 11) … homered in each game of a weekend set against Louisville (April 16-17) to complete a BIG EAST Player of the Week trifecta (April 18) … 2-for-4 with a double, home run, and tied a season-high with five RBI in the nightcap at Villanova (April 21) … walked all four plate appearances in game two at USF (April 27) to tie a program record … opened series with St. John[apos]s (April 30) 3-for-4, stroking two doubles and racking up three RBI … drove in four runs by way of a grand slam in the regular season finale at Connecticut (May 8) … registered an RBI against both Western Michigan and Michigan (May 21) at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional.

AS A SENIOR (2010):Second team all-BIG EAST choice … led all BIG EAST players with 31 RBI and three sacrifice flies in league action … tied Notre Dame[apos]s single-season record with 17 home runs while claiming sole possession of the top spot with 68 RBI … second in the single-season annals with a .746 slugging pct. … one of two players to start each of Notre Dame[apos]s 59 games on the year … hit .379 with 12 doubles and one triple … opened the season with two hits, two RBI, one run and a double against Creighton (Feb. 12) … blasted a solo homer versus Auburn (Feb. 12) … hit a two-run homer and scored twice at Southern Miss (Feb. 20) … named BIG EAST Player of the Week (March 1) after a stellar showing at the Cavalier Invite (Feb. 26-27) … she became the 14th Irish player in 22 seasons to hit at least two home runs in the same game when she did so against Virginia (Feb. 27) … posted a game-high three RBI in that contest, and drove in a team-best seven runs throughout the four-game event while hitting .583 with seven hits in 12 at bats … her 13 total bases helped her boast a slugging percentage of 1.083 for the weekend … had three multi-hit and two multi-RBI efforts on the weekend, including at least one RBI in each game … filled the stat sheet with one hit, run, RBI and double against Ohio State (March 6) … had at least two RBI in five of nine games between March 14-28 … perfect day at the plate against Purdue: for 3-for-3 with 3 RBI and a home run … career-best 12-game hitting streak spanned from March 12-28 and included seven multi-hit efforts and six home runs … homered in three straight games from March 24-27, including one on both ends of a home doubleheader with Toledo (March 24) … drove in four runs during the home opener against Eastern Michigan (March 23) … had two RBI in three of six games from March 24-28 … 3-for-4 and tied a career-best with four RBI and a double in the BIG EAST home opener with Rutgers (April 1) … named BIG EAST Player of the Week (April 12) for the second time on the season after going 2-for-2 at the plate with a solo home run and a sacrifice fly in a nationally televised victory over USF (April 10) … continued her strong play in game two of the doubleheader, blasting her first career grand slam and finishing with five RBI … for the three-game series with the Bulls, posted seven RBI while hitting .500, slugging 1.500 and notched an on-base mark of .500 … scored Notre Dame[apos]s only run in a league setback at Louisville (April 17), a game-two homer hammered to dead center … drove in a run with a double at DePaul (April 22) … 1-for-3 with three RBI versus Villanova (April 24) … went 4-for-4 with three RBI and scored three times in game two of a doubleheader with Bowling Green (April 28) … hit a two-run home run, two doubles and her first career triple while nearly clinching the cycle against the Falcons … finished the doubleheader with six hits in seven at-bats, five RBI and a slugging clip of 1.857 … closed the regular season on an eight-game hitting streak while recording at least one RBI in the final nine regular-season contests … 2-for-3 at St. John[apos]s (May 8) with three runs, a home run and two RBI … 2-for-5 one day later against the Red Storm with four RBI … ended the season on a 14-game hitting streak, including a homer at Michigan (May 23) in the NCAA Tournament.

AS A JUNIOR (2009):Recovered from a season-ending injury in 2008 to anchor the Irish at the plate and from the hot corner … started each of Notre Dame[apos]s 60 contests … hit .356 with a .419 on-base percentage and a .486 slugging percentage … ranked 21st nationally with four sacrifice flies … led all league players with two sacrifice flies in conference play … drove in 39 runs on 63 hits with 14 doubles and three home runs … the 14 doubles put her in a tie for 11th on the all-time single-season season … her 134 assists from third base ranks third all-time … had a career-high four hits in four at-bats and scored her first run of the season against Sacramento State (Feb. 23) … she also drove home four scores … 1-for-3 with three RBI against Toledo (March 18) … four hits and three RBI during a doubleheader at Georgetown (March 28) … filled the box score with three hits, three RBI, one home run and crossed the plate twice in a home battle with Northern Illinois (April 1) … also one of three Irish players to hit a home run in the fourth inning of that game with the Huskies … went 6-for-8 with four RBI, four runs scored and a pair of doubles in two games with Valparaiso (April 9) … also recorded the first stolen base of her career against the Crusaders … 3-for-3 against Rutgers (April 19) … 3-for-3 with two RBI, one double and one home run versus Louisville (May 3) … doubled in each of Notre Dame[apos]s three games at the BIG EAST Championship … named to the all-tournament team after recording one of two Irish hits in the finale versus No. 19 DePaul, which proved to be the game-winning RBI-double in the 1-0 Irish win … wrapped up the championship contest on the receiving end of a game-ending double play … had two hits – including a solo home run – in the NCAA Tournament against Michigan (May 16) … ended the season with hits in seven of the final eight contests.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2008):Split time at first and third base while starting each of Notre Dame[apos]s first 11 contests before being sidelined with a season-ending injury … totaled six hits in 24 at-bats for a .250 average … totaled 10 bases with a double and one homer … notched a .417 slugging mark and reached base on a .355 average … shot two sacrifice flies for the team and had one infield sacrifice … assisted on six bangers and had 26 putouts with one error for a .970 fielding average … had 12 putouts against Florida (March 23) … drew five walks at the dish … her eight RBI at the time of her injury was second-best on the team … had one single and scored in the opener against Utah (Feb. 15) … when Notre Dame trailed Western Kentucky (Feb. 16) in the top of the seventh, she crushed a 2-2 pitch to left-center for a two-run homer that tied the game at 5-5 … singled against Gardner-Webb (Feb. 22) … roped a season-best three-game hit streak from Feb. 23-March 1 … had singles in each of those three games – North Florida (Feb. 23), Florida (Feb. 24), and Pacific (March 1) … had one hit and one sacrifice against Pacific that produced a season-high three RBI … at the time of her injury, she ranked second on the team in slugging percentage and RBI.

AS A FRESHMAN (2007):Started at third for the Irish … paced the Irish and tied for the BIG EAST lead with 13 doubles and seventh with 35 RBI … locked in a .306 batting average, which was the second highest of any Irish player, as was her .435 slugging percentage … had an on-base clip of .377 … registered 45 hits along with a pair of homers … drew a total of 17 walks … had three contests with at least three hits … 11 multi-RBI games, including three four-RBI performances … 2-for-3 with an RBI in first collegiate game against Auburn (Feb. 16) … 1-for-2 with a walk against Alabama-Birmingham (Feb. 16) … went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored against Tennessee Tech (Feb. 17) … her home run was a two-run walk-off shot with two outs in bottom of seventh inning … 2-for-4 with a double against Tulsa (Feb. 17) … named to the Tiger Invitational All-Tournament team after going 8-for-16 with a home run and four RBI in tournament play … named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll (Feb. 19) … 1-for-2 with a run scored and a pair of RBI at Jacksonville (March 2) … 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI against Virginia (March 3) … hit a double that scored a run against Eastern Kentucky (March 11) … recorded a perfect 3-for-3 afternoon with two doubles against IUPUI (March 22) … walked and scored a run in the doubleheader against St. John[apos]s (March 24) … had a historic three-hit, four-RBI game against Seton Hall (March 25) … all three hits were doubles, tying Sara Hayes for the most doubles in one game … named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the second time (March 27) … walked, doubled and drove in a run against Pittsburgh (March 31) … went 2-for-6 with two runs scored and four RBI in the doubleheader against Syracuse (April 1) … drove in four runs for the second time on the year in the second game against the Orange … 1-for-3 against Eastern Michigan (April 10) … in the first game of the doubleheader against Providence, was 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBI … totaled a 4-for-6 day over the two games with a double, homer and six RBI against Western Michigan (April 17) … in the second game against the Broncos she brought home four runs … had a pair of hits in the second game of the doubleheader against Villanova (May 5) … notched a single and drove in two runs against Connecticut (May 10) to open the BIG EAST Tournament … walked twice – including an intentional free pass – had a hit and scored versus DePaul (May 11) … drove in the game-tying run with a single in sixth inning during a loss to Louisville (May 12) in the conference tournament finale … went 2-for-3 in the NCAA Tournament against Illinois State (May 18) … had a hit and was hit by a pitch against Wright State (May 19) … had a hit and drew a walk against No. 25 Illinois State (May 19) … had a 4-for-7 mark over three games for the Irish in the NCAA Tournament.

PREP AND PERSONAL:A four-year letterwinner for perennial powerhouse Mater Dei High (Calif.) … hit .380 with a slugging percentage of .598 to go along with eight doubles, three triples and two home runs during her senior campaign … served as the team captain her final season … named 2006 Sierra League MVP … all-California Interscholastic Federation and all-county as a senior … an all-league selection in each of her four seasons … Mater Dei[apos]s defensive player of the year in 2003, 2004 and 2005 … member of the ASA[apos]s 18 Gold California Cruisers team, helping the team to a runner-up finish at the ASA national tournament in 2004 … the team also earned the 2004 Championship Cup and the 2004 Colorado Independence Day title … from the same high school as former Notre Dame volleyball player Mallorie Croal … daughter of Susan and James (Bud) Johnson … youngest of two children … graduated from Notre Dame with a degree in psychology.
