AS A SENIOR: Did not compete during senior season.

AS A JUNIOR:
Competed with a number of different boats during junior season … rowed first race of the season with the first novice eight boat at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, earning a third place finish (7:10.916) … raced in the Saturday afternoon session at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite with the third varsity four boat, finishing behind Virginia with a time of 8:42.830 … competed in her third different boat in the Sunday session, earning a runner-up (7:42.940) finish with the second varsity four “A” boat … raced in the third varsity four boat at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge … raced with the third varsity eight boat to a first place finish (6:43.70) in the opening session of the Dale England Cup … earned another victory in the second varsity four boat with a time of 7:44.10 … closed out the season with a runner-up finish (6:56.40) at the ACC Championship as part of the Irish third varsity eight lineup.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Raced with multiple crews for the Irish throughout the season … at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, started out in the third varsity four boat and crossed the finish line in 8:09.60, good enough for second place … in second race, as a member of the A-team, finished second with a time of 8:12.18 … in third race at the Tennessee regatta, switched to the second varsity eight boat B-team and came in fourth at a pace of 7:21.61 … raced with the second varsity four boat at Michigan State and came in second in both races … again competed with the second varsity four crew at the Ohio State Invitational and finished in second place behind Michigan and Ohio State … finished second behind California in the first race at the Lake Natoma Invitational before stroking into third in the second event … finished first as a member of the second varsity four A-team at the fifth annual Dale England Cup with a time of 7:44.2 before switching to the B-team and finishing second in 7:53.7 … moved back to the A-team of the four-boat race and finished first in 8:59.3 … competed with the second varsity four team at the BIG EAST Championship and crossed the finish line three seconds behind first-place finisher Louisville to post a time of 7:58.314.

AS A FRESHMAN: Rowed in multiple boats for the Irish this season … got her first win with the third varsity eight boat at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite over Tennessee and Louisville with a time of 6:52.60 … also beat Alabama (7:03.30) and finished third with the third varsity four against Virginia … competed at Ohio State, finishing second with a time of 7:15.12 in the novice eight race … rallied to get the win the next day over Indiana, Purdue, and Louisville in the novice eight boat (6:46.65) … returned to action at the BIG EAST Invite, helping the third varsity eight boat to a victorious time of 7:10.90 … also beat Iowa, sporting a time of 7:30.10 in the win … ended her year with another victory in the third varsity four grand final at the BIG EAST Championship, pulling away for the win in 7:44.478, 30 seconds in front of the next boat.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Swam for the club team of Birmingham Bloomfield Atlantis while attending Marian High School … qualified in sectional, junior national and senior national levels while with team … competed with medley and 400 freestyle relays … two-time All-American in 100 backstroke and three-time All-American in 200 medley relay … school record holder in the 100 backstroke and 200 medley relay … Catholic League champion in 100 backstroke during sophomore year … swam backstroke on 2010 state champion and state record holding 200 medley relay team … anchored ’08 state champion and state record holding 400 freestyle relay team … also played softball during high school … member of the National Honors Society and Spanish Honors Society … participated in the Junior Mentor Program and Ambassador Club … daughter of Jerry and Martha Johnson … born in Royal Oak, Mich. … has four siblings: Hannah, Jacob, Zachary, Sofia … recently completed the First Year of Studies program … currently enrolled in the College of Arts and Letters with a major of preprofessional studies.
