GRADUATE SEASON (2013): Played in all 13 games with 10 starts … led Notre Dame with 95 tackles on the year … also topped the squad with both his 44 solo tackles and 51 assisted tackles … made five tackles for loss, including one sack, recovered a fumble, made two interceptions and broke up a pass … led the team in tackles in a game five times … finished his career with 226 tackles … totaled five tackles and collected an interception in the 29-16 victory over Rutgers (Dec. 28) in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl … obliterated his previous career high by making 15 tackles at Stanford (Nov. 30) … led the Irish with nine stops against BYU (Nov. 23), including two TFLs, one of which was a sack, while adding a PBU … recorded his 200th career tackle in that game when he dropped Jamaal Williams for a loss in the red zone … made eight tackles at Pittsburgh (Nov. 9) … credited with nine stops against Navy (Nov. 2) … tied Jaylon Smith for the team lead with eight tackles at Air Force (Oct. 26) … had a big game in the Shamrock Series matchup with Arizona State (Oct. 5) … posted a nine-tackle day against the No. 22 Sun Devils while recovering a fumble and returning an interception 14 yards for a touchdown with 1:08 to play, helping ensure the win … had a TFL amongst his three stops against Michigan State (Sept. 21) … in each of Notre Dame[apos]s first two games (Temple on Aug. 31 and Michigan on Sept. 7) had a then-career high 10 tackles including a TFL … one of just seven players nationally with double digit tackles in each of the first two weeks of the 2013 season.
